Hello again . I confess for a number of years I have become very cynical about new year . I became very bah humbug because I often found a new day didn't make a difference .
However today I saw a post on the os thread which sparked something in me . I feel motivated for the first time in many years to let a lot of negativity go , posters here may already be aware of it but for the people who may care to look it's Paul Coelho : closing cycles .
I hope it will maybe help one person at least if not now in the future as people find these wonderful threads .
Sorry I can't post a link - newbie . Anyway still haven't figured how to do that yet !
Sending all best wishes to you all . FAERIE I hope you're ok . x

I agree about hotness. For the most part, I like normal guys with character in their faces and slightly soft middles. I like long hair too but Mr CP is bald and I think he's gorgeous, others may not agree. I tend to go for guys with warm smiles. I myself am not pretty but have been told there's 'something about' me. Not sure what that means but if tinder had existed in my online dating time I wouldn't have been picked. In fact I had several people not answering after seeing my photo and one guy emailed to tell me my looks weren't to his satifaction. I emailed that one back and told him his looks weren't to my taste but I was willing to get to know the person underneath and as clearly he wasn't able to do that, he wasn't good enough for me :rotfl:
Tea, one of the hardest parts of online dating is the sudden coolness for which you may never know the reason. Could be he's being a baby about you not going round last night or making concrete plans to meet, he may have gotten cold feet or is just busy. Who knows? I had one guy stop talking to me because we were texting and I texted something like 'don't be stupid' which was supoosed to be light hearted. This is why I recommend stacking more than one at a time initially. Don't be downhearted about it. It sucks, but there are loads of fish in the sea.

Yeah I really need to spread focus a bit more but it just feels so wrong to even be chatting with more than one person at a time.0

Even as long as Legolas's!
And man buns, a la Uhtred in The Last Kingdom.Yeah I really need to spread focus a bit more but it just feels so wrong to even be chatting with more than one person at a time.
However, think on it as circulating at a drinks party, having at least a few words with each person.(I just lurve spiders!)

I know tea, One way to look at it is that until you are in exclusive committed relationship you are free and single.
Right can I have advice please. When I get stressed and other times I get a dodgy tummy. Cramps then TMI diawooo. Go three times and it all settles down no problems.
It has happened just now. I don't want to cancel tea this afternoon. Due to having put the frozen dessert in the fridge when I got home this morning. Yes I did the shopping this morning.
My stomach has stopped cramping and I don't feel the need to go to the loo so am 99.99% sure its the stress thing.
I was going to wear gloves anyway when handling the food and making sandwiches as I am totally paranoid about poisoning someone I know very silly but that is the way I am.
So what should I do they are due at 5pm!!!!
Yours

Calley, no need to worry. I'm sure your hygiene is impeccable.
To be very safe, wash your hands twice with soap, very thoroughly, over and under and fingernails, etc., after each loo visit, including just peeing, then you should be fine, and your guests will be fine.(I just lurve spiders!)

Aw, you are a lovely, loyal person tea, do you know that? Honestly you will be quite the catch for some lucky guy! Remember until you both agree to commit you are not in a relationship so it's fine to see other people, and hotness really is overrated. I liked WaSp for his sense of humour, his vulnerability and nerdiness although it was a bit different in our case because I wasn't attracted to him at first and he wasn't to me. We were close friends for 6 months who were dating other people, then we became more although I also liked his long hair which he still has. So initial impressions definitely aren't everything!
It will be fine, Calley! I sometimes get diawoowoo when I am anxious and can throw up too so I totally understand. I hope you have a lovely time!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

I'll shut up after this I promise
, just wanted to mention that I also thought he was funny, kind, etc.....wasn't just the hotness I found attractive :rotfl:
Ah well....if I had a hot date this evening I'd miss Sherlock :rotfl:0 -
Hahahaha! I am sure he had more going for him than hotness, tea! Although that does help!
I have never seen Sherlock, is it safe for me? Or will I be sobbing my eyes out after 10 minutes?Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France
