We are having a duvet day here.

It's not even one o'clock and it is really dark.

Don't blame you. its dark and windy here.

Yesterday was windy but sunny managed to get 2 x duvet covers and fitted sheets and 4 X pillow cases dry on the line outside.

Yes I am sad I like to get my washing out on the line.

Oh forget to mention been spending money I don't have. A dehumidier before xmas. Never really thought my house was damp but having issues in the bathroom with mould as the window does not open. I am  at how much water it gets out.

And bought a carpet washer yesterday. The carpets need replacing but until then I will clean them and keep them a little while longer. It was gross the water looked like mud :( But then they have been down as long as we have been here 11 yrs in march how much longer before that no idea. And have endured decorating and now a bunny and a dog crappy on them

    Oh well :rotfl:

    Bahaha! :rotfl:
We'll have a game after tea then! :D

Yay! I've lost count of how many times I've read the books although I've had a few years off them now so my knowledge is probably a little off :p

Hope you find some good bargains Georgie. I've got to stop shopping now, like Calley I'm spending money I haven't got! :o

WW, you do make me laugh; the Christmas present shopping is done so lets move on to Mother's Day! ;)

ETA: If we are looking for Mother's Day/friends' birthdays etc the Laura Ashley bakeware stuff in Boots is half price and very nice! They don't have them online but I was in a shop on Monday and they had lovely ceramic muffin trays, I'd have bought one for my Mum if she actually baked! :p

I am not really looking for Mother's Day presents. I just got an email from New Look and I can't fit into most of the clothes I like the look of (like the suedette 70s flared trousers).

I do get much, much more for my gift budget if I start looking for presents in advance.

code, I don't always get thanked promptly but I do know that my presents are appreciated. I (mostly) get so much pleasure out of planning and getting the presents that I consider that my reward.

If I win the lottery, I am going to look into liposuction initially. And maybe a personal trainer/nutritionalist. I would spend a year resculpting my body.

I have an appt on Monday to talk to the dr about getting my coil refitted. I wonder if they will offer me an alternative - chastity belt?

ETA: yes the measuring cups are lovely...and I do have sufficient boots points....
