    What's a tattie pot?

    http://www.simplybeefandlamb.co.uk/recipes/cumberland-tatie-pot

People either tend to spell it tattie pot or tatie pot, not sure which is correct? Its one of absolute favourite meals! Although the recipe above says to add cheese, and I have never heard or seen it made with that, and even though I love cheese on everything, I can't figure out whether it would add to it or take away?
  • I used to get a catalogue off La Redoute years ago. Not so long back I found a really good discount code and was going to order something, but then I read that they weren't fulfilling orders and were having problems, so I left it.

    Hi everyone

I haven't been on much recently just been keeping my head down and trying to get through each day been having trouble at work and it's causing me no end of sleepless nights, stress ect

But today I just have to let it all out or I'm going to lose it

    1) I hate my job I feel like I'm not getting it that I don't understand it and that I'm failing at everything I've been doing this job for a year and I still feel like I'm missing something and convinced I'll get moved off the team before much longer
    2) Someone at work is making my life a misery I hate her with a passion (which is unlike me) she is two faced, !!!!!y, spiteful and just generally a cow. I am seriously considering leaving the company I love and have been with for 6 years because of these 2 points
    3) EVERYONE around me seems to be having babies and it's killing me. I'm desperate to start a family but we aren't in the right place at the moment. 2 months ago 2 girls at work announced they are due at the same time 1st baby for 1 2nd for the other just as 2 others started their maternity leave. Now a girl on my team has just announced she's expecting. She sits in front of me the girl who is having her 1st sits behind me so they are pretty much constantly talking about babies. Plus one of the guys I work with GF is pregnant do when the 3 of then start up I feel like dying. To add insult to injury today they had a MASSIVE parent and children stand up to promote company benefits right in the reception so you couldn't get away from it THEN the 2 girls on maternity both bring their babies in. I had to go for a break I just couldn't handle it. It causes me to feel horrible to my OH as I start to feel it's his fault as he's the one who put us in the position we are in now which means we can't get on with our lives
    4) I'm sick of supporting everyone and being the one who always sorts everything for everyone else. OH left his job suddenly in July he managed to get another job quite quickly but the money until he starts doing jobs on his own is awful! I've now been paying bills or lending him money since before Feb (when he was sacked from another job) and he owes me nearly 8K now. My problem is I can't say no. He asked me to lend my BILL some money nearly a month ago and I still havent had it back despite being promised it by that weekend. I feel like a bloody ATM and it's making me so resentful I hate it. Everytime something goes wrong if I didn't sort it we'd be screwed and I'm sick of it. i just want him to man up for once

Sorry to moan but I have no-one I can talk to any more

Also, I need new jeans. These ones are dangerously close to falling down whenever I walk.

You two made me smile! (No mean feat at the mo).
    You're like a double act!

Going back a few posts.... I used to love La Redoute stuff (in fact, am wearing a jumper from there today, few years old now!) I gave up on them in the end as I had loads of problems with deliveries and them taking money twice.

Was a few years back though, maybe they've got better. They do have really lovely clothes.
I bought loads of stuff over many years from La Redoute, but had no trouble with deliveries, returns or payments.
But then their clothes became less and less unusual, more and more ordinary, and the quality became a lot poorer. So for the last few years I've bought no clothes at all from them, just some bedding.

Potential gift for WaS, but this is quite pricey (£19.50) so maybe a present from MIL, or inspiration for a cheaper alternative.

Again something that perhaps could be regifted.
