Hi Waves and Smiles and the other thread participants. I'm a newbie just dropping in to say 'hello'. I've been diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder and severe anxiety. Coming off a mood stabiliser at the moment and feeling quite vulnerable. Hi to all.

Thank you for the welcome! The duvet fort sounds fab - especially all the cuddly pets inside!
  • *yawns* that one hour rest turned into a 3 hour nap! Not sure if you saw my post on the last thread WaS, but I'm glad you are feeling less alone with it. Certainly I can't remember before my dissociation pathway was formed (yay!)

    Evening my Lovelies,

    A shiny new thread :j

Whitewing did you managed to teach little whitewing to handstand and cartwheel?

Well today went and saw minions and had a steak from spoons.

It was so funny in the cinema. One of the trailers was for kung fu panda 3. And it shows two pandas talking saying one had lost his son and one had lost his father. They say to each other good luck in finding them. And walk away from each other.

Anyway the little one a few seats behind us I reckon he was no older than 4 piped up. But that his father and that his son. I thought it was so cute and just laughed.

Its like my nephew he is 4 in a few months time. Anyway he will say to my mother Grandma where did you get those shoes from. Grandma I like the flowers on your dress :rotfl:

    Yours

    Calley

Hello Pippin! Welcome, it is lovely to meet you! Medication changes are always hard, do try to be kind to yourself and plan some treats while you are still withdrawing.

Alien Plant Invasion Update- I decided to repot my remaining plants including the cacti with two babies. Two? Two?! Four!!! There are four babies now who had all grown such long roots that they were hanging out of the pot! I didn't have enough pots so babies are currently sharing their beds until I can get some more. I am quite pleased it is almost time for them to sleep for the winter before I am taken over!

On that note I nearly gave WaSp a heart attack earlier. He decided to be helpful while I was repotting and feed the plants, plant food. This is their going to sleep season, not their eat and grow season! I may have shrieked in a panic when I saw him holding the bottle. This is why he kills plants...

Ps. I now own 17 house plants. If I go missing they have eaten me.

I've only just noticed the thread motto. What does it mean Pyxis?

Flybaby, I think escapee is determined not to appear today. Been getting a lot of pains all day but hasnt turned into proper contractions yet. Hubby thinks I just have bad wind, he is probably right!

He suggested I write a book on the reality of pregnancy (wind, piles, black poo etc etc) as noone ever talks about that. Not sure anyone would want to read it!

I'm having a bit of a wobble this evening. Saw some horrific things on Facebook which I scrolled past but it was too late. Images stick in my head too easily.

Also, does anyone know if it is possible to change your user name on here? The dilemma I mentioned a few weeks back is bugging me and I'd like to post about it but could do with a change of name and avatar to make posts less searchable. I know it's quite obvious who I am anyway as I never post anything I don't mind people I know seeing, but would just like to be a little less obvious.
