In exactly the same boat as you-returned boots, awaiting confirmation. Would be grateful for an answer to the above question too, please!
When did you return your boots, missingink?

    Anyone used bootsmoda before?
    http://www.bootsmoda.com

My friend from uni has some, i have compared mine and hers and they are exactly the same, even the depth of the sole etc,
Only thing is that they arent on the Ugg website?
    Thanks

They are fakes. They are very very typical fakes - most fake websites look just like this. Have you actually looked at the 'contact us' email address? Do you want to send your money there?

Does anyone know if there are any official uk stockists of the Classic Short Fancy boot? Just asking before I order from the official US site. Thanks :D

have a look at nordstrom they do some different ugg boots. I have ordered from them in the past and they quote prices with shipping and tax.

I've been looking for a pair of Bailey Buttons and have now just seen the Ayre Chestnut (Emu Uggs) which I like aswell. Do they need to be ordered in a size smaller than your shoe size? Thanks :).

anyone got these? canterberry short oxfords? i think they look quite good, im giving up on the ugg australia ones i think, i want comfort over brand anyway so looking at alternatives, not sure if im keen on the look of emu's.

    :)
  • They look ok, the outside is a little flatter than the unwashed pair I have, but Im hoping that will come back with a stiff brush. The inside is lovely again though!!

In other news my warmbats came this morning and good lord are they lovely. If I had seen those first I dont think i would ever have bought Ugg Australia. The sheepskin feels thicker, much cosier and the quality is exactly the same if not better than UA. I'm over the moon with them! The memory foam inserts that come with them enable you to make them a little snugger if they are not an exact fit, and the sheepskin insoles are also memory foam and fully removable. There is also a fairly decent sized bottle of "water proofer and stain repellent" included in the box.

For anyone looking at the cheaper end of Uggs though I saw a girl in town today in a pair of Bear Paw boots that had the "squashed heel syndrome" really badly. I went into TK Maxx and they had quite a few pairs of bear paws and the heel quality varied, some had a reinforced heel (the chocolate ones) but the tan ones were not reinforced. The sheepskin is also not of a comparable quality to Warmbat, LFA or Ugg so anyone thinking of buying Bear Paw may be better putting a bit extra to it.
    :D

did they fade at all ? one of my boots has gone quite pale now after wearin them in the snow look odd !!

    Same as you I think-the 4th?
  • Hi
There is a size guide on this site so if it is not a surprise present then you can measure her foot - I have ordered a size down following this chart (I am normally sz 7 so ordered 6). Hope that helps!

    I did!

    Mixed blessing:
They did go a nice shade of black- looked brand new (careful not to dye the label tho!)

But then the snow came and I wore my Uggs- I wear them come rain shine snow or whatever in the winter! I ended up with black feet!!
I am not sure if I liked the black toes thing- I recently went to see a free stylist at a fashion store and she was looking for trousers for me, I was so embarassed by my feet which didn't look black from the shoe dye, they just looked dirty!
On the plus side it normally comes off in the shower:o only to be re-applied the next day I go out in the snow (they don't grit the roads where I am).

So guess you gotta weigh up the pros and cons- they did look nicer when they were back to being black though.

thanks for that, my daughters are a pale blue colour was thinking of dying them navy blue...as fed up off cleaning them....my own stupid fault for getting her a pale colour
