Still no luck with the ASOS code.

As I expected, I received an automated reply, the same as some of you have had on here:

    "Hello

    Thank you for your email

Unfortunately codes that are provided by online sources and not by Asos are often invalid. Whilst we occasionally have problems with codes that we supply to our customers, we cannot authenticate discounts that we have not directly issued.

If we sent you this code directly please confirm and I can look into the matter further

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

    Kind Regards,

    Chris"

So Im not going to get anywhere with them, as their get out clause is that I didnt get it in an email. They always say this when a code doesnt work. Oh well, I'll keep my money then and they can fig off!

It's so annoying - the tall grey I want are currently £152 which is still too much (I need two pairs for my twin dd's!). It does seem that they regularly have codes though, although the price will probably have gone up by then knowing my luck. Fingers crossed though - will keep waiting and see.

I know. I want the tall blacks and theyre the same price, but still a bit too much than what I'd like to spend at this time of year!

I tried using a different delivery address, different name and DOB and the code still wouldnt work, so I think they've pulled it tbh.

Oh well, it was worth a try. Ive sent them a reply email stating that codes never seem to work on my account, and they never seem to email me any bla bla bla... is there anything you could do. Don't expect to get anywhere though, but thought I may aswell give it a shot!

cloggs have 3 for 2 on uggs marked gift. Google voucher code for cloggs and you'll find it.
  • Not happy with ASOS; my order was declined; I used that code they've now pulled; on Friday, I was actually happily shopping and I had several hundred pounds in cleared funds still available to spend, so I don't believe it was declined; I think they just didn't want to honour the discount. Not impressed.

That's rubbish. If I were you, I'd give them a ring... you don't seem to get a straight answer via email.

I emailed them back last night after I received that generic reply, and guess what... they replied to my reply with the same automated email which I got in the 1st place, with just a line removed. Didn't answer my question AT ALL!

Get the label prices are v.good - £99 for tall Greys plus 10% off! Shame I dont want grey though, and shame they're only size 7's - if they had 5's, I'd be tempted to get my mum some of those for xmas.
