So genuine ones have a logo that looks like this?

I thought it looked like this

I've tried to read back a few pages, but have got confused between genuine and fake stockists. Can someone please recommend a reliable stockist of genuine Uggs, I'm after a pair of chocolate cardy Uggs, for the best price possible!

The label on the Ugg Australia boots looks like this ---> UGG

Have a look at http://www.alltheshoes.co.uk/uggs/ugg_boots.html for a list of genuine stockists.

  • FlickeringEmber, have you put any protectant spray on them yet? I only have the ugg care kit which says it can't be used on the metallics, and i haven't had any luck searching on google for an alternative. TIA x

No, not yet. I will before I wear them; I think my Scotchguard will be fine for them.

There are ugg boots as in the generic term for sheepskin boots and there are uGg boots as in the brand

(I think it is similar to people calling a hoover a hoover even if it is not made by 'Hoover')

Even though your pic does show boots with UGG on the back these are not geniune uGg brand boots, but they are ugg sheepskin boots made by someone else.....

    .....confused yet?

Thanks so much Caz now I understand, also had an e-mail this moring from UGG Australia and they said

No this is not genuine Ugg Australia product.
Please visit www.uggaustralia.com to purchase online, or view the list of registered retailers.

But know I realise that there are different types of Uggs will have to see which are the ones that she wants? do you know if the other type of Ugg which are Australian Uggs but not Deckers are any good ? or is it just like you say hoover being a hoover but not made by hoover ?
a please & thank you is all it takes

    Finally found this thread lol.

The short gold metallics from asos are now virtually sold out apart from size 8s so if you want them you'd better be quick.
  • Thanks, Mambo...to be honest, I am amazed they survived that long although I would not have found them had I not seen this thread. This is because I'd never have thought I'd see Uggs in the sale. What a pleasant surprise though.

    hi there,
i have both types of uggs, 1 pair of the deckers uggs which are fine and genuine and 2 pairs of the jumbo ugg boots which are great quality, its all a matter of preference really. the deckers uGgs are obviously the fashion statement ones (and more expensive) but i think the quality and thickness of my jumbo ones are better....i also have a pair of canterbury supertreds and they too are fantastic quality and they too do a classic pair if you dont need the supertred sole. x

Thanks for this! The disclaimer (see link at foot of page) convinced my wife to order the australianaura Roxy boots, instead of the more expensive similar UGG's she was looking at.

The one complaint about this site was the shoe sizes. It said US 7 = 23.5cm foot length = UK 6! can't be correct as my wife is 24cm foot length = UK 4.5 = EU 37.5/38 = US 7!

    Will report again after delivery!

Wife has just taken delivery of a pair of tall Nomads in black http://www.australianaura.com/nomad.htm for £115 and they are fabulous!

But that site does have the UK sizes wrong. It says 23.5cm foot length = US 7 = UK 6, but my wife is UK 4.5 and they are a snug fit!

ORDER BY FOOT LENGTH WHERE POSSIBLE!
I... left... my.... heart  innnnnn San Francisco
  • Does anyone know of any really thick sheepskin inner soles that can bring down boots by half a size please?

I know this is technically off-topic for this thread but I'm hoping the fashion gurus in here might be able to help as I don't think I'm going to get any replies on the "I wanna" board :o

I'm desperately looking for a knitted wool cape like the one for sale here at HoF. I wanted this particular one but unfortunately it's sold out :(

If anyone knows where I can buy something similar I'd be extremely grateful :A
