She wore them the whole time she was in the house. Put me right off them. :rotfl:

Me too! I wasn't keen on them before but I certainly wouldn't want a pair now!

I also saw loads of fake cardy boots hanging on racks in Claire's Accessories yesterday so no doubt they will soon become the next chav statement footwear ;)

I've definitely seen a coat like that somewhere in the last few days but can't remember exactly which site

Have a look at Monsoon, Asos, Jaeger, HoF and John Lewis as these are sites I've been on recently ;)

  • A little help please

I'm in need of some sheepskin boots, currently have some ugg Australia boots, but need a replacement. Not sure whether to folk out the massive amount for them again, and have been doing my research and read this thread loads for advice.

Ok so I have looked at the Canterbury boots (oxford style), and I am liking their shape in similarity to my current uggs, just the sole looks a little thin, and the basket weave on the sole doesn't look like it would offer much grip.

The kiwi sheepskins, don't look as nice a shape, or is the website images not do much justice? plus have no idea what the soles look like.

My Ugg austraila have a decent amount of grip, and I am looking for a cheaper boot with this style of gripping, as I dont want to be slidding around in the snow. (I have considered the supertread styles, but not too keen.)

Any helps or advice would be much apperciated.

The jumbuck boots from shudoo look good to me, someone here has got their's so maybe they can tell you what the sole is like. Good price too especially the sale prices.

I very recently bought some short braid boots by Jumbuck from Shudoo.

The quality looked quite good and similar to a more expensive style of sheepskin boot. They are true to size unlike Ugg Australia and the sole seemed similar too. However, I returned them because they weren't very flattering. My feet looked more clumpy and they seemed "big" although internally they fitted just fine.

When I tried on Ugg Australia boots they made my feet look nice and compact even though they are essentially Ugg boots. Hope this makes sense.

Shame really because they were nice to look at. Also the other thing is I had to pay £4 postage and the return postage came to £5.02 and that was First Class Recorded and not Special Delivery. So just something to bear in mind.

whats the best thing to put on gold uggs to protect them???
    xxx

I have not tried this (as I don't have gold Uggs) but scotch guard- I put it on my black uggs and it was fine.

You can buy it in most supermarkets with the shoe or cleaning stuff, or shoe shops like Clarks sell it.
  • To Pinkgem: Kerry's jumper is from H&M; it WAS £14.99 I think....I got a shirt with the same print on from there at £9.99 but this was last September so if there's any left they'll probably be in the sale. HTH!!
