As a raynauds sufferer I think I will be buying some, Nor for the brand but the quality of these sheepskins. You really cannot beat natural fibres for warmth. The doctors suggested moonboots....these are surely the next step away!
So I shall look around for the best quality and the best price!!
I dont pay for branding but at the same time would not by cheap imitations (made by little more than slave labour by all accounts)
M
Ps if I see a tiny ankle boot with a small zip up the side then they are def the ones that my granny wore!
That's exactly what the 'uGg Australia' are! Not cheap imitation, but slave labour! Made in China! Why buy an Australian boot that's made in China? These people have been brainwashed saying the other ugg boots are 'fake', read the facts about the bullying American Deckers company;

Hi, I bought a pair of UGG's from Asos for my daughter for Christmas but they are too small for her so I will have to send them back, has anyone returned items to Asos were they OK to deal with and how long did it take for a refund? (will have to have a refund as they have no more in her size in stock). Thanks for any help.0

Is anybody interested in getting cheaper Australian Uggs right now or did everybody get theirs for Christmas? I've been following all the Ugg threads for the last few weeks hoping that after Christmas I might get them cheaper. However, firstly I've noticed that the likes of Shudoo or Office either dont have many in stock now or ASOS for example don't have any discounts.
I'd like a pair of size 5 Grey Short Australian Uggs where can I possibly get some cheaper? more importantly when will the discount codes for these sites start again?
Any ideas anybody?0 -

You have an almost identical wish as me! I need (ok, I would like) a pair of size 5 Aust. Uggs but at a reduced price- I have been waiting to see if they were reduced- it seems not so far.
Not sure if its any help but if I do see any, I will be posting on here!0 -
~Chameleon~ wrote: »I think you're getting confused over what actually constitutes a fake boot. A genuine sheepskin boot that doesn't carry the UGG label is not a fake boot! There are plenty of genuine companies around producing sheepskin UGG boots that are often better quality than even the UGG Australia brand.
The fake ones are counterfeit copies and not even made from real sheepskin, hence why they look so awful after just a few weeks as you've mentioned. They're the ones to beware of, just as you would be careful not to buy any other counterfeit products such as perfumes, 'leather goods', dvd's, games etc.
It really annoys me when people describe alternative brand sheepskin boots as fakes
No no no- you have misunderstood me:
When I say "fake" I mean a boot thats not an Ugg, pretending to be an Ugg: Emus do not pretend to be Uggs, they are Emus, the label on the boot says 'Emu' for example. What I eman by fake are boots with an Ugg label that are not really Uggs, even though the label names them "Ugg". Those ones are fake.
Sheepskin boots are widespread, and yes there are many brands, unsurprizingly so. But if a brand is not good enough that they have to pretend to be another brand http://www.uggstore.com.au/popup_image.php?pID=121&iID=1(see picture in link) then it is this that I worry/have a problem with.0 -

But those boots are genuine Australian made Ugg boots, they're not fakes!!!
I really don't understand this mentality of people wanting to support slave labour and the sweatshop trade in China to buy a particular brand of boot just because a well-known "celeb" was seen wearing them!
It is these boots that are "not good enough" as you put it, and are mostly inferior to other brands. They are the ones trying to imitate genuine Ugg boots and even go as far to call themselves UGG "Australia" (made in China remember!) to try and fool people into thinking they're the original article “You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Chameleon don't you feel like you're hitting you're head against a brick wall with some of these fashion aficionados?
Give me a pair of Australian UGGs anyday mate!July Win: Nokia 58000 -
I think most of us are perfectly aware what ugg boots are.
What annoys me is when people pay for a pair of 'ugg australia' boots and get sent boots that are not this brand - the ones I recieved are not even sheepskin, so to me, that means fake. If the 'fake' ones sent to me had been sheepskin and pretty good quality then i'd of kept them anyway, after all £70 odd quid would of been a good price.
What I recieved were cheap nasty synthetic boots.0 -

Well, obviously the ones you received were indeed fake boots. Did you buy them from a dodgy website?
It's very well documented which sites sell the Deckers brand (they are incredibly strict over who they authorise as stockists) plus I've posted in this thread many times on how to identify fake sites so it's down to people to take care and read the info available.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Yes, as stated earlier in the thread I got them from Bloomin direct, after someone said they had recieved genuine 'ugg australia' ones, I thought it a bargain so got some. I've got real ones already so I could tell the difference immediately, I didn't need to go examining labels.
Of course I have now learnt that old chestnut, if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is!0
