    To what?:o
  • i have to agree i'm afraid, i had Snugg uggs last year & after a while they did lean over to one side & looked ridiculous.also the heel one side wore right down.
i now have 2 pairs of Ugg Austraila boots, short & long & i love them, they are soo expensive though, so i've only got them due to money off codes i got from this site;)

trying to money save, but spot too many bargains on here!!

not sure to be honest as all looked to be a bit big for my feet, think they were about 90 for the long boots , not sure about the shorter ones:confused:

the shop in the pallasades sells uggs too so dont know if they are having a sale too, personally im not too keen on them so would only be tempted if under 50 quid:o

I would have to disagree with that- but we each have our own experiences, on the whole, the fakes I have seen people walk around in collapse/lean to one side- this does not seem to genuine Uggs, mine are now 5 years old. Evey year I have worn them atleast 5 months straight and most if not every day of the week. They have not collapsed.
I agree, Mine have lasted for years and as long as you look after them i think all authentic uggs would. I know they are alot but the amount that you may spend on fakes, ugg type boots buying a couple of pairs a year it may well work out cheaper to get the real uggs.

Id go with asos, reliable, authentic and reasonable priced.

Any boot made of sheepskin upper with wool inner is an Ugg boot.

Just sheepskin, Emu stinger (not bronte), snugg australia, jumbo ugg, LFA, canterbury, the list goes on they are all genuine uggs.

Label is a preference depending on a persons personal choice. Its the same as the word 'Jeans' there are several brands but 'jeans' is a generic term used to describe a pair of denim trousers. 'Ugg' is a generic term for a sheepskin boot.

You do get cheap man made versions of synthetic fabric, they are not ugg boots.

You also get counterfeit copies of the most sought after label Ugg Australia made by Deckers corp. These are the ones to avoid as you do not get what you pay for! Just because the label has uGg australia written on does not mean they wont collapse on the floor after a few wears, if they are counterfeit then the quality is no more than a cheapo pair from the market.

Label conscious people who want this brand BEWARE of the counterfeits if they are below recommended retail price then thats a good indication. Some fakes are made quite well and are not immediately obvious. This thread will help any people who are unsure http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=532039&page=254

I have requested this thread be merged or closed as the long ugg thread covers all the same debate/info and regulars do not need 2 ugg threads coming up on the 1st page. Also the original post is not a grabbit.

I posted on here early November looking for uggs with a promo code and did actually manage to get a pair from usc, with a 25% discount, I love my uggs but problem is a small hole has started to appear in the toe on the right foot, these boots are so comfy and are in no way too small, I emailed usc and asked where I stand and they recommended I return them asap and they would be sent away for inspection, (oh no prob 2 weeks without my comfort) I have just heard there are talks about usc going into liquidation, how true this is I do not know, anyway I will return boot back to the nearest store, unfortunatley they do not actually stock uggs, but I am a little reluctant to reorder off there website just at the moment, is there any promotional codes going about for Uggs as I paid £127 for tall classics and I know they retail at £170 so if anyone knows of either Shuddo or another GENUINE site could you let me know asap so I can reorder. Thanks.... and a happy new year too!!!

My Mini Stingers have not been off my feet since they arrived. Apart from in bed :p I've even abandoned my Fitflop billows for them - which is saying something!

I'm sure you will love them! Just don't wear socks with them - it knackers the inside apparently.

    Enjoy!

I love my mini stingers too they are fab quality and soo comfy.

I think you're getting confused over what actually constitutes a fake boot. A genuine sheepskin boot that doesn't carry the UGG label is not a fake boot! There are plenty of genuine companies around producing sheepskin UGG boots that are often better quality than even the UGG Australia brand.

The fake ones are counterfeit copies and not even made from real sheepskin, hence why they look so awful after just a few weeks as you've mentioned. They're the ones to beware of, just as you would be careful not to buy any other counterfeit products such as perfumes, 'leather goods', dvd's, games etc.

It really annoys me when people describe alternative brand sheepskin boots as fakes
