Ugg Boots from £62 delivered

Hi all,
I want to buy some caterbury tall oxfords, or some emu stingers. Not specially bothered about the uGg (deckers) name.
However, I don't want boots which are huge on the calf. 9/10 times when I try on normal knee-high boots, I find that they are massive on the calf. I believe that people think that if you have size 7 feet you must also have chunky legs, and I just dont!
Please can you tell me, if you own caterburys or emus, how big they are in the calf compared to the deckers UGGs?
THanks in advance,
Ellie
Hi
I have the Canterbury tall and short oxford boots. The tall ones measure 17" around the top. They fit quite snuggly as there is a good layer of sheepskin inside but i am able to wear jeans comfortably tucked in them. These boots are very good quality.HTH0 -
Hi, I decided to send mine back (recorded delivery) as my husband couldn't remember now if he signed for them. (too many parcels over Christmas to remember which and weren't signed for)
So now I suppose I need to give them a week to refund..........then.....? not sure who I should contact about a non refund! I will do whatever it takes though. |Don't see why they should get away with it!
I am pretty nervous about sending them back without having any confirmation from the company they will refund. I think I might phone the credit card company first to find out if I need to prove they are fake before sending back (thanks for the link you provided Mookie - the person seemed to have their credit card company asking for proof the goods were fake after they had already returned though which makes me nervous about sending them back without some proof of this). I might just phone my local Trading Standards as well.0 -
..or not as have just seen they are closed through Jan.5th - v.helpful!0

I decided on sending back as they sent the wrong order anyway. On that alone I am entitled to a refund. Of course whether I end up getting one is another thing...........but i'm sure there is some avenue to go down for not getting one.0

Hi pyrites,
thanks for the reply. Can you tell me if the tall canterbury are identical to real (decker) UGGs in terms of sizing?
I went into town this morning and tried some boots on. Emus felt really odd on my feet.
I normally wear a size 7, but Ugg 7's were really quite loose (W9) and I ended up deciding that ugg 6's (w8) were a bit better.
But the canterbury ones say that half sizes should go up, so presumably they are smaller sized...
Can anyone help? Don't want to end up with the wrong size!
Thanks

I hate to say this but is it possible that your ones might be fakes? Just a thought...0 -

Have a look at this link,if you are after some genuine Uggs below is a good place

And then:
Please have a read of the disclaimer on this site, it makes VERY interesting reading.
I rest my/our case!
Thanks for this! The disclaimer (see link at foot of page) convinced my wife to order the australianaura Roxy boots, instead of the more expensive similar UGG's she was looking at.
The one complaint about this site was the shoe sizes. It said US 7 = 23.5cm foot length = UK 6! can't be correct as my wife is 24cm foot length = UK 4.5 = EU 37.5/38 = US 7!
Will report again after delivery!I... left... my.... heartinnnnnn San Francisco

Ok - it's just that you seem to have found your Grey cardies online when everywhere appeared to have sold out until March so I just wondered when you said that the buttons on your's are a different colour to pictures you'd seen. Can I ask how you checked them and how you are so sure that they're genuine? I am still confused about how to tell the difference0
