as sent by ugg australia when i sent an email asking to confirm for me the sites licenced to sell uggs.. hope this helps :)
  • Hi all,

I want to buy some caterbury tall oxfords, or some emu stingers. Not specially bothered about the uGg (deckers) name.

However, I don't want boots which are huge on the calf. 9/10 times when I try on normal knee-high boots, I find that they are massive on the calf. I believe that people think that if you have size 7 feet you must also have chunky legs, and I just dont!

Please can you tell me, if you own caterburys or emus, how big they are in the calf compared to the deckers UGGs?

    THanks in advance,
    Ellie

Be warned there is a fake site running under cosieboots check the spelling.

I would say thats a deliberate attempt at trying to con people into believing that they are the authorised stockist cozyboots.

    cozyboots is a genuine stockist

    cosieboots is a fake

I have some EMU Hi leg Brontes and they are snug and tight all around the leg, I love them!

If you get some though make sure you get a size smaller as I didn't listen and got my size 6's and they are a bit too roomy and your not supposed to wear socks with them as they make your feet sweat and it ruins the insides.
  • thanks leanne...

I think I may try to track down some emus in town to test the size... I have one foot that is 6.5 and one nearly 7.5 (I know, it's weird!) so I normally wear a uk7. Sometimes (tho rarely) I need an 8, for example my running shoes.

Can anyone shed light on the canterburys?

    Thanks

Ok so I have just realised that I payed BLOOMINDIRECT direct by credit card, not Paypal. In this case would I be better off trying to go through Trading Standards/telling the credit card company I have received fake goods? Or should I just claim no delivery? I did email the company that I received them but my order is still listed as processing and there is no tracking number.(any more advice appreciated mookie thanks!)

maggie999, how are you handling your return/claim? I don't think anyone will ever pick up the phone, it seems like we just have to pursue them as fraudulent or not delivering the goods.

Hi, I decided to send mine back (recorded delivery) as my husband couldn't remember now if he signed for them. (too many parcels over Christmas to remember which and weren't signed for)

So now I suppose I need to give them a week to refund..........then.....? not sure who I should contact about a non refund! I will do whatever it takes though. |Don't see why they should get away with it!

I really hope you have no problems with the Recorded delivery tracking details, its not the most reliable service. This might help you about somebody else who received fake goods and their credit card payment. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/mbna/136134-please-advise-claiming-chargeback.html
