  • im trying to get size 5 cardy uggs in grey, anyone know of any in stock anywhere?
    I found http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Classic-Cardy-UGG-BOOTS-in-Grey-UK-Size-5-100-Genuine_W0QQitemZ330294254370QQcmdZViewItemQQptZWomen_s_Shoes?hash=item330294254370&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1295|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318
which look to be real but i'm cautious, what does everyone else think?

I emailed him asking where they got the boots and he replied very promptly saying
"Hi, All genuine Decker UGG boots are now manufacutered under licence in China. Our boots are purchased directly from an authorised agent in China, and are 100% authentic.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards
    Dave"

    Hi Dave,

Those boots do look good in the photos, its actually hard to tell if they are genuine from looking at them.

I think they are fakes, and my reasons are based on looking at the short grey boots, and also the reply the seller has given you.

The box shown in the photo of the grey boots- the genuine boes dont have that flap bit on the front.

The sole looks dark- the grey sole is quite light grey

The photo taken of the heel area of them- just doesnt look the quality of a genuine boot it looks like the left one on the pic has a crease on it on the inside

Also they look very blue in the pics, the genuine grey ones are really hard to photo.

The sellers reply seems to be a bit odd, purchased from an authorised agent in china? I doubt ugg Australia would set up agents in China to sell to random buyers. He calls them Decker ugg boots not Ugg Australia made by Deckers, and he also uses the word authentic which is seen commonly on fake goods on ebay. he has no feedback for Ugg boots either. Its very convenient a seller has Uggs just in time for the xmas rush.

Go with your gut feeling on this one. ;)

Doesn't it say on the site? If they're sheepskin then they will be Stingers and the Bronte ones are suede/merino. The price should be an indicator too as one is much more expensive than the other ;)

  • i have 2 pairs of jumbo uggs and they are the best quality, i brought a pair of deckers ones and i returned them as the quality wasn`t that good, i have read that "uggs" originate from australia and deckers brought the name.
what i don`t understand is if they are called uggs australia why are they made in america/china ???????????

i love my "jumbo uggs" and will always by from them, they are made in australia so therefore they are real uggs in my eyes :j
  • if you go to the jumbo ugg website they have a sale on at the moment
  • has anyone had any good experiences with boredofthehighstreet.com before?
