Could someone just confirm for me if these really are 100% fake, a few of you said stay away but I think my hubby has bought them for me
http://www.yoyosilver.com/product_info.php?cPath=33_87&products_id=576
Sorry but I think they are fake, you cant trust the photos on this one they could easily have photos of a genuine pair. Yoyo sells other brands that those companies wouldnt supply to. For example Tiffany, I am pretty sure they are too exclusive to sell to a site like that. I remember last year Yoyo had Louis Vuitton spelt wrong. The thing that I can confirm 100% is this bracelet http://www.yoyosilver.com/product_info.php?products_id=76 I have one and that 1st pic is a pic taken from Tiffany site, the 2nd pic showing their stock...the care card on genuine items just says Tiffany & co. on it, the care bit is on the reverse not on the front. Also count the number of balls on the bracelet in both pics remember the 1st pic is genuine. HTH0 -
i am gutted now as i was not sent the code in an email from Shudoo
i was going to get them tomorrow & now cant! cant pay full price.
any other ideas as to how i can do it?mummy to 3 monsters!
trying to money save, but spot too many bargains on here!!0 -
You can still get 20% off by entering code JBK178 or MSE178 at checkout.
Wow those Cardy boots are selling out fast and pretty hard to get anywhere else.
AFAIK Shudoo is def 100% real. Ordered my classic ones from there a few weeks ago and chuffed. Went with advice on main site here and forum. Looks like Shudoo have good stock and they're really helpful (I had to send mine back for a different size).
They also sell Hunter Boots which I love and Snowjoggers which I think I am falling in love with but have never actually seen as they don't seem to sell them much on the high street.0 -
Having spent hours this afternoon going through this forum, I finally figured out how to prove whether or not my new Uggs are fake (via whois, never heard of it before) and they ARE. The site: http://shoes.kissjordan.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=30
is run by Yuan Chen, so they must be, mustn't they??
they look really real, as I said in an earlier post, labels, soles, guarantee leaflet in the box etc. etc. etc.
1) Do I have any come back at all?? Or do I just have to hang my head with embarrassmentand chalk it up to experience (something can hardly afford at the moment but...)
2) How do I let other people know about this fake website, it came up really near the top on a google search, so others are bound to find it too.
3) Has anyone bought a Yuan Chen pair? What should I expect? eg will they wear out really quickly? The sheepskin on the bottom is already wearing a bit thin where my feet are pressing into it, but perhaps even the real ones do that? Never had a real pair so nothing to compare with.
Sorry, but I really feel stupid and want to know!
Thanks to those who keep this thread going - it is a must-read before buying Uggs - I wish I had!!!!
Our friend Yuan Chen....yes he has several sites! And he keeps changing his site name so no there isnt much that can be done to stop him!
Ok firstly I must apologise, from your 1st post I thought you may of been advertising the site but it seems I was wrong. Unfortunately we have become so suspicious as people like Yuan come here under false names and advertise their sites, this thread gets a massive amount of views on google and when these posts come up people like myself try and hint that the site is dodgy to warn others who might think its ok. If you imagine a newbie reading the 1st page then nobody is going to read 100+ pages so they skip to the end and assume Martin has approved the websites shown here, sometimes it takes a while for the advertising to be removed by the moderators so us regulars get a bit protective and try and stop anyone doing this.
Ok so have you worn your boots? You cant return them if you have but then again its illegal to send them back and this would also cost you money. So the first thing is how did you pay? credit card? Debit card? Paypal? There might be some sort of protection depending on how you paid. Also were they sent on signed for delivery?0 -
I paid via paypal with a visa debit card. I will find out tomorrow if they had to be signed for as I wasn't here when the parcel arrived. I have worn them, but only in the house because I wasn't sure if they were too small or not. But the fleece inside is already moulded to the shape of my foot, even though have only worn them a few hours around the house. Am so so disappointed and feel like a complete wally.
thanks, Clarey0 -
Apologies if this has been posted before but I have read that the UK supplier of Ugg Boots is AMG http://www.amg-group.co.uk/footwear.aspx
I think if you are unsure about any sites being geniue they will confirm whether or not they have supplied boots to the site/retailer.
I think there was a dispute over where the TK Maxx Ugg boots came from as AMG didn't sell them any!0 -

Ok so Paypal should offer you some sort of protection. If you open a dispute for Significantly not as described, do this asap then you then need to contact Paypal to tell them the goods are fake and that you wont be sending them back as its against the law, you will then have to get them inspected by a retailer who can confirm in writing that they are fake. Paypal should put a hold on the amount of money you have paid when you open the dispute, once you can provide Paypal with the info they need you might get a refund.0 -
Hi
I need some advice please. I bought some Uggs from eBay - this is the listing http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=270301340161
As most of you know I've sent him a few emails regarding this and he has been really abusive in his replies. I just checked my email a few minutes ago and this is his latest email to me.
dont bother me any more with this !!!!, I have had enough of your dumb !!!! arrogent attitude
I am in croxteth on 31/12/2008 so I will be calling to collect what you owe me (or should I say what you owe me kids)
I'm built like a 12 year old girl and my girlfriend is 8 months pregnant so I don't want this on my doorstep. My girlfriend is worried already. What do I do now??0 -

Report him to the police?
ETA: I apologise for doubting you earlier but it has been known for people to mistakenly think their boots are fake, and I couldn't find any evidence at the time to think they definitely were. You might find this link "interesting" and will no doubt help your case

TKMaxx wouldn't have got their ugg boots from AMG.
TKMaxx get their items from other retailers not from official suppliers.
I've seen the ugg boots in my local TKMaxx and they were definitely real.0
