crikey mine are coming tomorrow too, will not be leaving the house til they arrive will be photographing them and posting on here for you all to view -
no imposters in this neck of the woods
fear not, may even then drive to Bluewater (15 mins away) wear 5 shops currently have uGgs in stock and personally compare each boot and of course will report back (do you think this extreme measures they are only shoes after all )0 -

No I think its a fab idea0 -
Ok, here are my thoughts for what they're worth. I do actually think we've been stung with fakes, unfortunately, because ...
a) my first impressions when I opened the box were that they looked "cheap" and certainly not what I'd have expected to see for boots supposedly selling for over £150 in the UK!!
b) the fur looks synthetic to me, and not real sheepskin wool as it's supposed to be.
c) the inner label looks cheap and tacky, like that which you would see on a cheapy market product.
d) then there's the issue of where they've been made - Australia v China.
The thing is, what can we do about it? I've worn mine twice so can't either return them or sell them on as new“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
I will know when I get mine as I have Ugg slippers (yes, made in China), so I can compare the labels & my daughter still has the box, so I can compare that too.0

hmmm.....
Did you get the chocolate brown ones because the label on them is cream?
I got the chestnut tall ones and as I have a pair of genuine short ones I can compare them and thy do not seem right to me. The label inside is not the same, the label on the heel is smaller and lighter in colour and the bindings on the heel don't sit properly like they should.
I have emailed them with my concerns so I will let you all know what they say. Fortunately, I haven't worn mine yet.0 -
hmm just looking at the images on the aussiedirect site and onthe black ones the label is the wrong colour. It should be white and there's is black...gutted.I think I shall be sending mine back when they arrive!
*edit just looked at the images on office website and it is the right colour label0
