Thanks Cage and Blue Monkey for the ebay link. Definately going to get some from there. I've been selling all my son's old toys on ebay so I can buy them with my proceeds in Paypal - its like I'm getting them for free then!!! Plus my DH can buy me something else for Christmas!!!! Result!! Thanks again.

By the way - this might be a silly question - but do you not get charged customs from USA???

Hi again Jillybobs, yes we unfortunately do get charged customs, but not only that we also have to suffer a handling charge too so it can end up quite expensive.

That ebay link posted earlier to you has a promise in the auction that we wont occur customs charges, wither that is by posting the item as a gift and below the $72 threshold or Goods and below the $36 threshold or even refunding any customs charges that we may occur I dont know. All I know is that in that ebay auction were guranteed not to get any. The seller may even pay the charges before sending.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi all
I said before that I thought I would keep mines even though I bought the wrong size, but I think I was just too excited!

I have a pair of classic short chestnuts, bought from Cozyboots so def genuine, US size 5 - UK size 3 should anyone like to buy them?

They havent been worn just tried on twice!

By the way,Amazon have 35% off the tall Emus, £56 instead of the £90 I just paid in John Lewis! :(
Had to buy some more :)

How do the Emu sizes come up, do they come up big?

Hi, Seeing as you seem an expert about UGG boots for people with small feet! I wondered if you could help me? I was looking at the boots the above seller has and was looking at the kids ones. I am a UK 4 and was going to get a UK 3 as I'd heard you should get a smaller size but I wondered if a Kids UK 4 would be ok as it says these are slightly narrower than the Adults UK4? Also they are a lot cheaper (a true money saver!!!!). Did you buy kids ones? What will be all do when we've bought our UGGS?

Hope you dont mind me responding to this, the kids ones actually come up wider, i am a size 4.5-5 in shoes and i bought a US5 which is a UK4, they are roomy, i have had uggs in a womens US6 which is a UK4, the kids definately feel bigger and i wear socks (which end up coming off as the boots slip a little bit). The tall boots are narrower on the legs but the foot is a wider fit to allow for boys to wear too. I was given this info direct from Ugg australia when looking for mine. The length is fine but the wider fit makes them feel like they arent as snug as my old ones but at half the price i can live with it.

    Hope this helps. ;)
  • I got stung for customs charges this morning! £39 something arghhhh!!!!

That reminds me, my other pair of boots are on their way to Deckers (courtesy of Martin Lewis) to find out if Aussie Direct were pulling a fast one on us! I've not heard anything yet, but Jenny (from MSE) and I will keep you up to date.

Thanks for the advice. I think I might pay the extra £15.00 to get the adults ones then hopefully they will be perfect. I've been obsessed about getting chestnut ones as I have a really nice bag I use all the time which is that kind of colour but having looked at Chocolate ones in the Trafford Centre this morning I'm confused!!!! My mum being a typical mum said the chocolate ones would not get as dirty!!!!!! I swear I didn't take this much time buying a brand new car!!!!!! or my house!!!!!

Also as a girl who seems to have loads of UGG's which height do you think is best to wear with jeans? Sorry for all the questions - I'm such a pain!

    Hi

They come up small in the foot, I got a 5 and I'm usually a 4, however they were wider in the calf than uggs which meant I could get the tall ones :j

I ordered another 2 pairs from amazon for the price of my one pair of uggs (which I am hoping I sell!)

I have both in short boots, the chestnut go with more, ie. black clothing so I get more wear out of them. They dont get that dirty really and if you spray them with protector they clean easily.
