I have been trying to order a pair of boots from Bootbarn today and have been told they dont accept international credit cards and I have to fax the order through. did anyone else have this with boot barn. Sounds a bit odd to me!
Thanks Janey0 -
How odd.
Bootbarn accepted my credit card on their online form.
Only problem I had was I noticed had been charged $65 for shipping. I ordered the cleaner so was charged $30 for a second item. I called their toll free number and customer service was great - refunded the additional shipping fee as agreed cleaner could go in same box.
Ordered last Thurs and boots in depot today.
£24 customs for the short pair0 -
Hi everyone, I have been reading this thread with great interest! I think i may have to get the kids boots as they are supposedly roomier at the calf (?) and i often have probs with boot calves being too tight. I am a size 4 and the smaller you go the calf size is smaller too!
Has anyone bought the kids uggs? (ugg australia) and how did you find them? (any bigger)?
If anyone has them and could maybe measure round the calf bit i would be very grateful!!
:j thank you!0 -
Hi, am new to this website. Need some advice on sheepskin boots. I've had emails from www.kiwi-sheepskins.com & www.uggbootsrus.com & they recommend buying the boots with the chunkier heavier rubber sole for outdoor use rather than the lighter eva sole as more durable & the eva sole isn't for use in wet weather & only for light outdoor use.
HELP. How can it be so confusing to buy a pair of sheepskin boots.0 -

I would recommend Grommies for kids boots - that's unless you really want registered uggs. The grommies i got were 100% Sheepskin and were with me the day after ordering. I got a pair for myself and for my little girl. We are totally happy with the fit - including calf size.
I still reckon that they are much better value than the Aussie boots I got last year - plus they are cheaper.
If you wanted to check out their site they are at: www.grommies.co.uk
:T:T:T
Sorry should have said - its for myself, i was just wondering about the kids ones as they are meant to be roomier!
Is there any give round the legs after wearing them for a while?0 -
Thanks to everyone who has posted on this forum.
After lurking for several weeks, I have just taken the plunge and ordered a pair of tall Chestnuts from Bootbarn.
Just wanted to let you know that if you use the coupon code "Western" at the checkout you get 15% off your order. I only found this because I tried to register for the $20 discount by signing up for the newsletter but couldn't get it to work. I searched the net for the code and found this one which meant I saved $22.49. Ok only a couple of dollars more but better in my pocket!
Just hope they come quickly and customs charge isn't too much now - oh, and if they fit that will be good too. Lol!
Will post again when they arrive.
My boots have already arrived at East Midlands airport and are scheduled to be delivered tomorrow!!!:T I only ordered them yesterday afternoon!
Will let you all know about any customs charges.0 -
Got my boots today -(black short) ordered from Bootbarn - was supposed to pay £23 customs but they didn't ask me for any money
Only snag is I'n not convinced thay they arent too big. Im a uk 6 and a half or a 40 and ordered a US8 - they are very wide (and I have exceptionally wide feet) - I feel as if I need an insole in them. Am I being too fussy???? May well put them on ebay now....need to think on it.:rolleyes:0 -
Just received a pair of UGG boots off Ebay but they smell really bad. Its really strong and smells like paint. Everything else seems ok, just not 100% they are genuine! Please help!! Thankyou
My black ones smelt a bit when they were new and left really nice black bands around my legs!!!! Soon wears off!!!

The kids Uggs are wider in the foot, but narrower at the calf.
I have a pair of Kid Uggs and adult Uggs (both short) and the kids are definitely narrower around the top of the Boot.0
