  • I got grommies for my boys just in time for guy faulkes night and they were the snuggest kids at the bon fire. I was a little concerned about buying on line and not getting a good look first but they are excellent quality genuine sheepskin. The sizing is straight forward too I bought vans for my boys from america and they still don't fit 2 yrs later. They are great value for money – £38 plus a £3.50 p&p and I had them the next day!! I bought myself Uggs last year and waited a month for delivery, apparently they were held in customs.

Think I will get the baby boots anyway as they will make a good gift - and I have been struggling to think of something to get for the new baby when it arrives (my mum keeps on buying stuff). I know she will love these and I am thinking she can always keep them for (he or she) until their feet grow to right size to fit.

With you on the toddler grommies - shame there wasn't anything like this around when my kids had feet that small.

They are a lovely gift. :D and have you seen the sheepskin baby rugs, they are gorgeous too. ;)

Are the grommies sizes true to size?

I have told my friend and she wants them too, her 1 year old has the ugg boo boots too, which are also way too big as she got a medium. I am encouraging her to buy some :rotfl:

Beware the cheap imitations as they're not real sheepskin and they don't have a re-inforced heel support. The backs will end up sagging and your girls will be walking on the heels of them within weeks. I've lost count how many young girls I've seen wearing boots like this and it looks truely awful.

    Cheap isn't always moneysaving ;)

  • Hi, after reading all the threads would not have placed an order... but there you go, live n learn....

I ordered 2 pairs of "ugg" boots 2/10/07 from Australian Ugg Boots - J & V Collections, still not received, been on the site numerous times - online customer services not open, e-mailed numerous times - still no reply, even though they aim to reply within 72 hours.. and also tried ring (there time 1030 am) not able to answer call, suggest e-mail.

Im not feeling hopeful... the money was taken via credit card £170 pounds or something, 2 days after order placed... not sure what to do next! CAN YOU HELP......:o :o

I'm not sure which site you have ordered from. Do you have a link please?

Sorry I have to agree with this. I got some from M&S and I love them and don't take them off (except to sleep), I've had them for a couple of weeks and last week was walking up from school and got the worst pains in my feet as my feet were slouching off the sides of the boot. That is when I decided to order some proper ones. It is a real pain, they do cost a lot of money but call it your xmas present or something and you'll have an excuse ;)

Now I have the problem in that my daughter (who is 5) is asking for some but having bought her some Clarks boots she won't even put on now, I don't want to either buy them from M&S and have them hurt her feet, or pay £40 for a pair of boots she is not going to want to wear in 3 days time.
  • hey!:D
I ordered from rei on the 1st and was sent an email saying they had been sent out on the 5th, i have a tracking number which works on usps and parcelforce but the only info i have is that it left the us on the 6th in the afternoon....thats it !!!??? surely it should be here by now  (well at least in this country??) no more tracking info.... has anyone else had this?
am i being too impatient:o ?? Well....this is uggs we are talking about!!
    I WANT THEM NOW!!!!!:rotfl:
  • Have you tried calling parcelforce and speaking to someone there? That was how i found out that mine were held up at customs.

I think the timescale for mine was: confirmed on the 2nd, found out on the 6th that they'd reached the UK customs, called on the 7th and told to await card, called on the 8th (cause i was impatient) and after much begging paid the fee without the card, boots arrived the 9th.
