Ordered a pair of Tall Classic UGG Boots (genuine make) today via Boot Barn http://www.bootbarn.com/multiview/viewbrand/15/0/view/0/6/last_updated in the States.. Cost $149.99 + $35 shipping to UK. But if you register on their mailing list you get a code for $20 off, so $164.99 in total (about £80 inc postage)
    BARGAIN!! :j
Just keeping my fingers crossed now that they turn up in good time (quoted 10 days via UPS/DHL) and are the real deal.

Boots already landed at East Midlands Airport!! How Fast!!!! Sooooo excited....:T

I ordered 2 pairs of UGGs from AD and although I'm happy with the quality of them and am sure they're genuine (having owned UGGs before,) I'm a bit confused as to whether I have been incorrectly charged or not. My order confirmation email stated I would be charged 300 USD but I've received my CC statement and it says -

    All Things Australian FOOTSCRAY VIC
    348.31 AUD @ 2.2124 - £157.43

Can anyone shed some light as to why it says
I have been charged 348.31 AUD instead of 300? Thanks

Can you let me know whether you're asked to pay customs and tax on these please?

I've got my eye on a pair of boots I want (saving £150 on UK prices) but finances are tight this month and I might struggle to pay any customs on top :(

I've completely blown my budget for shoe/boot shopping for this and next year! :shhh: :silenced: ;)

    Will do...

I'm hoping I don't get charged, but at the end of the day the boots have already saved me £90 so if I get charged something (which I'm sure will be less than £90) its still cheaper.

I think it takes a few days after the parcel has been delivered for customs to request the charges, so will let you know how it goes.

I've ordered from VS a few times with amounts less than that and it's always been hit with customs charges (quite expensive ones at that). I only ever buy during sale time as it makes up for it but you may be lucky and not get stung.

I think... thats cuz on the invoice they dont add up the P&P....check if adding the P&P works out that amount

    Are my Uggs 'normal'??

I got my Uggs from Cloggs, they are not packed as well as the ones from Cozyboots. I have no authenticity card, they don't have the things to pad them out and support them so they look like they are collapsing. the label is of the fabric made in china variety. The CB ones don't really smell of anything but these ones smell of almonds (I guess) and the plastic they come in is different.

The soles I could not really tell on, as with the stitching but I did buy a different colour - maybe this is why. There is aone loose thread at the top of the boot - can this be described as bad stitching or am I being waaaaaaaaaaaay to picky now??
