Oh. I misread it - I thought you only paid 104 dollars - that would have been a bargain!:D

Rotherham lass...Have you received your exchanged boots yet??

I received my Tall Chocolate UGG Boots this morning from AD, absolutely delighted with them, they have the China Label sowed in and they look fantastic. I ordered them on the 15th October and got them today.

Only query I have is the invoice was for $169,50 but my credit card was charged £104.00, I thought the $169.50 included everything including postage etc.:j

$169.50 was the price of the boots, postage is an additional $35 so total $204.50 which will be approx £100

my order confirmation email showed a total of $169.50 as it did not include the postage in the total, but also states that the postage is $35 so total should really say $204.50

"Tall Chocolate UGG ® chocug 1 169.50 Colour = Chocolate
Australia Boots Shipping = With Original Box via
    UPS express Delivery $35
    Style = Womens
    US Women's Sizing = 8
    Total 169.50"

I am VERY disappointed with taylor shoes. I was promised a full refund after their system allowed me to purchase and be charged for tall chocolate ugg boots when they were out of stock. I was told this was due to a software glitch.

I have just checked my credit card statement online to see the following:

    21 Oct 2007 TAYLOR SHOES £90.71 DR 180.99 USD @ 1.995259619

    23 Oct 2007 TAYLOR SHOES £86.75 CR 180.99 USD @ 2.086340058

That means I am £4 out of pocket due to their software glitch that allowed me to be charged for boots that they did not have!

I realise that they cannot help the exchange rate but they should not have taken payment for boots that they did not have in stock and it is due to this that I have ended up out of pocket.

Add to this that I've had to pay an extra $20/£10 from AD for the same boots. All very disappointing and I wish I'd never bothered now.

just to update, taylor shoes credited me a further $9 which converted to £4.27 so covered the £4 difference in the exchange rate. :j

 well I really do not know what is going on with aussie direct. I placed my order on 17th October and received a confirmation of the order. I queried that the 5% had not been taken off so they e mailed me back and said it would be taken off when they billed me for the boots. Since then I have now sent 3 e mails requesting a tracking code but have had no reply. I dont know what is going on with them but if I do not hear anything from them in the next 24 hours I am cancelling my order and will never deal with them again. I am so dissapointed as they were supposed to be a surprise birthday present for my DD next week. Their service has really gone down in the last month. Can anybody reccomend somewhere else to get the tall black UGGs in a size US7 at very short notice?

    thanks xoopsx

    How quickly?

I think you will struggle now as it seems everywhere has a delay on orders, i ordered mine from a company that said they had my size in stock, its been 2 weeks and the boots were only despatched a couple of days ago they must be wading through a list. The time difference doesnt help either as communicating takes longer.

From this thread i notice Taylors is taking orders then saying its not in stock so avoid them. If you are hoping to save a few £ I think you may have the wait.

I did look at a couple of sites i added to my faves but they dont have the size you want. Maybe if you tell AD you want to cancel you'll shake up the order as they wont want to cancel.
  • My canterburys have just arrived and they are gorgeous :happyhear

    Thanks edith for recommending them

Hi, Is Costco open to the general public, if they are which branch did you see them in?:j
  • Has anyone waterproofed their Uggs yet?

I'm just waiting for my sand short uggs to arrive and have no idea what to use on them to protect them from rain/snow etc.

Some people have mentioned Storm and others have used the Clarks protector.

    any suggestions?
