I've got a short sand pair here from kiwi-sheepskin that only cost me £26 delivered and they are far better quality than my UGG's, and now, looking at the Hartings site, I see I can buy the tall chocolate Canterbury boots for £65 delivered!!!

Why oh why are we all paying the premium for UGG's when it appears they are actually an inferior product compared to others??? :wall:

hi there, i emailed Hartings about the Canteburys and the width on the calf area and they replied:

"The Canterbury Boots are the same as the UGGs so it might be a good idea to try on some UGGs locally."

It also says on the website about the manufacturer:
Canterbury Leather International is the premier New Zealand manufacturer of sheepskin footwear and apparel. A leading exporter, the company is the recipient of a number of government awards and has for many years been a preferred manufacturer for Deckers Outdoor Corporation - owners of the UGG® Australia brand.

So i'm going to Office tomorrow to try on some Uggs and then order some Canteburys!
  • Just got a reply from UGG Australia regarding the length of Classic Tall UGGS.
    Dear Mrs Happy,
Thank you for writing in. The boot shaft height for our Classic tall is 12 inches. Boot shaft height is measure from the start of your heel upwards. I hope this helps!

Ok, they are chocolate brown as I said in the 1st post the flash has made them lighter but I took them in a rush just to put up here so wasnt too fussed. They are 101% genuine, as soon as they came out the box there is no question the inside labels are embroidered fabric they are different as they are the kids ones.

VIX2000: They are the kids ones with the 15% off they were around £55 give or take a few pence, delivered by parcelforce so got no customs charges. :T They are a 5 but on the larger side so if you anyones a small 6 you could easily get away with them.

CHRISTINA1982: If your going to order 2 pairs if you have another family members email addy you could register both and get the 15% discount on both orders as the 15% only covers one item.

Mookie - They look GREAT! Did you have to pay any customs/duties?

They are yummy, shame they're not mine. LOL

No customs charge they came via parcelforce who charge on delivery if any. For £55 I wouldnt of complained if I did get a charge though.

I'll post pics of the chestnut ones when they come too.

    Mookie,

I they much bigger than uk sizes? I'm a uk 5 and was going to get a US 6 but they're all out of tall chestnut in US6 and don't know when they're getting more, so was going to get US7, which they say is a UK5. Do you think I'll be ok. I'm itching for some uggs now and don't think I can hang on until they get some!!!
