ooh can only use code once do I buy more than one pair???!! hehe

Well you could always sign up in hubbys name if you decide you want another pair.

Yes they do stretch a lot but dont go down too small or they'll go out of shape. ;)

My ones from REI are on their way so i will post pics when they arrive. Not sure how long it takes, i had them on backorder for about 3 weeks. I'm in no rush as they are for my mother in law and the other pair i ordered for my friend as she is not online at home. If they were for me i'd be counting the time.

    With 15% off it makes them $135 + $60 shipping. Total $195.00 £100+customs&duty = £129 max.. bargain!!

You can put them through as a gift, i'm not sure if it works for the customs but worth a try it gives you the option at checkout.

Gutted about to order them from REI but they only do the blue patch in kids tall so will have to go for the womens tall us 7, it says that is a uk5 anyway. Tried that size on today and they felt fine, better to be too big than too small! I'll just go for it like you emmilou!

anyway, i can't decide wether to order tall chocolate uggs from AD or taylor shoes

and also what postage option to choose for least chance of customs (i'm thinking priority mail if i go with TS at $36)
    • Delivery in 6-10 Business Days
    • Insurance Included
    • Online Tracking to Major Destinations
taylor shoes are cheaper at $149.99 as AD are $169.50 but with AD there is no customs tax

    dilema dilema dilema

not really, i decided i'd rather pay less to start with as there is a chance there will be no customs with taylorshoes and i will be $20/£10 better off

I'm sorry I can't reassure you that all will be OK as my sand ones are not good, so I'd cancel your order now rather than be potentially disappointed in the long run, like I am with mine. Yours may be different though, who knows? Even if they look a mess, they're still comfy.

I emailed Taylorshoes to see when they will have my size back in stock and received this:

It will be mid to late November before we can get anymore of the Ugg boots. I might suggest that you take a look at the Koolaburra line that is available through our website www.taylorshoes.com They are nearly identical in appearance to the Ugg, the real difference is the quality. They are made in Australia, they are hand stitched and fit true to your normal size, overall the quality is higher than the Ugg for the same price. Just a thought.
    Best regards
    Michele

They look good to me. Has anyone got a pair of these?

Do you know how I would go about cancelling my order with AD ?
I have just checked my credit card statement and they have not taken the money yet.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Too late. I have just received an e-mail this morning with my tracking number. My Uggs are on their way :j

Thanks to everyone who mentioned the Canterbury boots. I just looked at them and they look good for the money, so I ordered a pair of short chestnut boots for £55 with free shipping.

I too wish I'd never bought from AD but I put it down to experience. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is!
how long is delivery on your canterburys, thinking of ordering the tall chestnuts to replace my bad ones from AD, can you tell me what yours are like when you receive them and how they compare to uggs, it would be greatly apprieciated, they are a great price if they turn out to be just as good as uggs, could you also tell me what the sizing is like, my uggs are a size 6 (U.K), should i get the same size in canterburys? thanks in advance:rolleyes:
