On the chestnut pair it looks like the binding has glue around it where it meets the sole. The patterns on the sole have larger sunbursts on the chestnut and black. Where the two 'r's meet the spacing is wider. Loads of other subtle differences if you look carefully. Does this mean they are fake?? Who knows anymore.0

Has anyone tried them from here
http://www.taylorshoes.com/classicshortboot.htm
They have long, short and crochet uggs, and I haven't ordered ugg's from there but had loads of pairs of crocs rfom them and they are excellent. The short ugg prices are $119, which with today exchange rate is about 60
I bought a pair of the Boho patchwork boots from Taylors, very good service and price0 -
Evening all! Read most the posts on this forum and in serious need of advice! I understand that uggs tend to be cheaper from Aussie direct and most ppl have bought them from there but the quality isn't great. Is that safe to say? Do you still get the 5% discount on your next purchase that others mentioned earlier?
Other ppl have also mentioned Hartings but they're slightly more expensive and you don't get the ugg box. Are they better quality than Aussie direct tho? And free from customs and tax like aussie direct?
Also has anyone bought from ugg australia in the us? Looked at the website and they seem to be cheaper but looks like you get stung with shipping and possibly tax and customs?
I'm so sorry bout all the questions but want to make sure I'm happy and reassured when I order! Any advice/assistance would be much appreciated!
Thanks in anticipation! Angel x0 -

that would be correct for crocs but shipping for uggs from taylor shoes is
$36 for first class mail international
$36 for priority mail
$48 for express mail
shipping for crocs from taylor shoes is
$15 for first class mail international
$24 for priority mail
$35 for express mail0 -
Thanks for that pinkgem...stopped me ordering now ha ha0

it seems that uggs are classed as 4 pairs of shoes for shipping purposes as the shipping prices for uggs are the same as if you bought 4 pairs of crocs!
anyway, i can't decide wether to order tall chocolate uggs from AD or taylor shoes
and also what postage option to choose for least chance of customs (i'm thinking priority mail if i go with TS at $36)- Delivery in 6-10 Business Days

Well mainly where the best place to get them from! No disrespect but there are quite a few comments on here suggesting that people aren't too happy with the quality from aussie direct. I know they're hand made and they won't all look at the same and of the same quality but most ppl are suggesting that the boots made in China are better quality. I wanted some chestnut uggs but it looks like aussie direct only have those made in Aus? Are Aussie direct still giving 5% off on any second order placed? Thanks!0
