I have just ordered my 1st pair of Ugg boots from Aussie Direct, I ordered the ultra womens short Ugg boot in sand.
Having just read the last few posts on here I am now worried what the quality of the boots are going to be like as there are so many people saying that only the chocolate Uggs are any good.
Having just forked out £75.00 and as they are my 1st pair of Uggs I really don't want to be disapointed.
If anyone could give me a bit of advice or reassurance I would really appreciate it.
I think its the chestnuts that people aren't too sure on, but I wouldnt let it worry you as you will be scrutinising your boots looking for imperfections cause of what other people have said, im sure they will be fine and you will be snug :)

Has anyone else had dye come out of their black UGG's that has stained their feet black?

Should it even do that, or have I got a pair of fakes??? :(

Goodness, did you get them wet whithout spraying them ?, or it could be a temporary thing until they settle down, I had a pair of socks like that once when wearing them for the first time it looked like I had been up chimneys :o

I'm sorry I can't reassure you that all will be OK as my sand ones are not good, so I'd cancel your order now rather than be potentially disappointed in the long run, like I am with mine. Yours may be different though, who knows? Even if they look a mess, they're still comfy.

I emailed Taylorshoes to see when they will have my size back in stock and received this:

It will be mid to late November before we can get anymore of the Ugg boots. I might suggest that you take a look at the Koolaburra line that is available through our website www.taylorshoes.com They are nearly identical in appearance to the Ugg, the real difference is the quality. They are made in Australia, they are hand stitched and fit true to your normal size, overall the quality is higher than the Ugg for the same price. Just a thought.
    Best regards
    Michele

They look good to me. Has anyone got a pair of these?

I received an email from aussiedirect, it says that Ugg Australia assures them quality is the same on all their boots but the message did say they personally agree there are differences and the choclate ones are the only ones that meet the standard i was hoping to receive. So anyone who is not happy with the pics so far dont order them.
  • Thanks for the advice everyone. I think I wil see what the boots are like when they arrive as appose to cancelling the order. Hopefully they will be fine.
I suppose if I'm not happy with them I could always sell them on e-bay ;)
