    Washing instructions for footwear

Unless otherwise indicated all Celtic footwear is machine washable at 40 degrees (maximum) or less. We recommend using our own Celtic Wool Wash and washing on a wool cycle, but be aware that items may take several days to dry. Once washed, allow to dry naturally. Some fading of the sheepskin may occur. To see our range of cleaning products please click here.
    DO NOT SOAK
    DO NOT USE FABRIC CONDITIONER
DO NOT USE ANY ARTIFICIAL HEAT TO DRY
DO NOT DRY IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT

I have some Celtic sheepskin boots and I have put them in the washing maschine. I just used "wool" washing liquid from the supermarket and they came out fine. Thye only thing was they took a while to dry - I had to stuff them with new newspaper 3 times. I think all sheepskin Uggs are fine to machine wash.
  • Hey guys...I'm new to posting but have been reading this forum on uggs for a while. I did my research about buying genuine ugg australia, i ordered classic tall black uggs from AD waiting for them to get delivered.

I went out shopping today and seen the choc uggs and had to buy - fell in love with them! my choc uggs also have the white insoles, also bought at the trafford centre. i know they are geniune, but im excited to recieve my black uggs now from AD, bit aprehensive though especially from reading previous posts about their authenticity. It seems they are genuine but how can there be a difference in height (which is my main concern)...would Deckers not expect each and every product to be generic regardless of which country they are made in?

I shall be closely inspecting my black uggs to my chocolate ones!!!

For anyone who can fit into anything less than a UK5, you can get kids short classic inc shipping for approx £65 on REI.com I ordered a pair for a friend and the you get an email for 15% off next purchase so I ordered my mother in law a pair for £55 inc shipping they have chestnut ones in stock at the moment.

They do sell ladies short for about £60 and talls for about £75 plus shipping so if you were going to buy 2 pairs order the 1st pair then wait till you get the 15% off welcome email for the next purchase.

I have tracking numbers for both, they are on their way.

That sounds good but I really want a pair of chocolate Uggs. I quite like the kids classic Uggs in blue print though.I guess i could buy a pair of those, get the 15% discount and use that to get some chocolate Uggs if they get them back in stock :D
Do you know how the kids sizing works out, i.e what size you would need for an adult uk size 5

According to the size chart a kids size 6 is a uk5. Thats the size I ordered.

If you order the blue print ones then when you get the 15% email you can backorder the choc ones, my backorder only took 3 weeks and they emailed to say they had been despatched. They charge you once they are in stock and you can cancel it at any time. For that price its worth the wait. The total I got charged for 2 pairs ordered separately is £115.83

I also emailed and they confirmed their stock is made in china. ;)

Thats what threw me as well! Its not just a slight difference, as I said mine are a good 2 inches taller than hers. Other than that and the insoles though they are identical.

I wonder if I got Ultra Talls in a Classic Box?

I wont see my friend for a week now, but if I get chance later ill take a pic of the boots on my feet to show just how far up my calves they come. If anyone else has classic talls can they do the same for a comparison?

There is a care guide on the official Ugg Australia site and they say DO NOT put your boots in the washing machine. I saw a pic of a pair on ebay that had been in the washing machine and came out all wrinkly and streaked.
