Hi, i,ve been following this thread for a couple of weeks and ordered some tall blacks from aussiedirect last monday, but apart from a confirmation email of my order i have not recieved any tracking no. How long did other people,s take?
Also hope they are the real deal after shelling out nearly £100 it seems i would have been better off getting the chocolate ones.

Hi, I had the same situation as you, just a confirmation email of my order with no tracking no. I waited, checking my email everyday - and no tracking no. arrived - but the boots - Tall Blacks, like you - arrived this morning - exactly one week after my order. I have to say I am impressed with mine (I keep looking around me to see if anybody is checking out my back label when I walk down the street - I used to do it to others wearing uGgs!:rotfl: - so far I haven't caught anybody!... :( ) Being black (ALL black, no cream anywhere) the stitching doesn't get noticed as much as on the lighter colour pairs. They are comfy tho', I don't want to take them off to go to bed! :rotfl:

Well I cant get any definate !!!!!! they are fakes, UGG Australia have said they do make them in Oz, but bloody ebay reviews make you paranoid.

Either way i've decided i'm not keeping the boots i'm sticking to the china version as I prefer them but I am considering doing my own ebay review to help others like us who feel like we got fakes.

Did you see the photo AD sent me of their carton? Then on hartings website all their pics are of the boots we got, on the main page they have the same white sticker on the sole too!

    This is their explanation

We own and operate a specialist sheepskin store in Auckland, New Zealand. The boots we are offering here were purchased on account from the official New Zealand distributors for Deckers Outdoor (owners of the UGG® Australia brand). They are genuine UGG® Australia boots.

Maybe Hartings had this problem with buyers in the past.

I've got an UGG headache :rotfl:

Hi everyone on this forum, I'm new on here but have been following this thread for a while now as I wanted a pair of reasonably priced genuine UGG boots. I was going to order them from Aussiedirect but after reading some of the comments I didn't feel too confident, so decided to do more reearch and ended up ordering them from Hartings.

    http://www.hartings.co.nz/

The price on the website was £109.95 with free shipping, so I ordered them with my husband's credit card as his does't charge for foreign transactions. The statement came with £106.95 so the exchange rate must have been good.:j

I emailed to ask when they would arrive and they answered straight away and sent me a tracking no. They actually a came a day earlier than it said and I was at work, so collected them from the post office this morning. They are absolutely gorgeous, they have the fabric "made in China" label and are perfect 100% genuine. I LOVE them and am giong to order more :j :j

Also I didn't have to pay any import taxes, so I don't think the price is much more than Aussiedirect and these are DEFINATELY GENUINE.

My only minor complaint, and it's a small one, is that they didn't come in the origonal UGG box, it was a Hartings one, but this really does't matter for the saving I have made. I guess it may help with import as it looks small and so customs wouldn't necessarily notice it and not charge import taxes.

    I hope this helps.

I meant to say that my boots are the tall chestnut in US 8 as I am a UK 6 and they fit like a glove.

I too have been following this thread and nearly ordered from AD, but I wasnt 100% convinced they are genuine.

I have ordered a pair of the short chestnut UGG boots from www.hartings.co.nz, and I am expecting delivery today. Two of my friends have bought them from here and they are genuine Decker UGG boots. They cost £89.95 inc delivery, and they mark the parcel as a gift with a low value, so it is unlikely though not impossible, that I will be charged customs duty. When AD claim there will be no customs duty to pay, this is what they also do, and just hope for the best.

My debit card has been debited with £89.22, and they would have cost approx £79.00 inc delivery from AD, but for the extra tenner, I would rather have piece of mind. I also requested on my order, that my boots are "Made in China", and they have confirmed they will be.

Sorry to throw the cat amongst the pigeons, but something just doesnt seem right about the boots AD are supplying. It would seem the chocolate ones are ok, but the other colours are of a poor quality. Surely if they were genuine Decker UGG boots, the quality would not be this poor.

I will do, I am expecting delivery today. I have tracked them on the parcel force website and it says they are out for delivery. Its my day off today, and I will not be leaving the house, until they have been delivered, I keep looking out of the window for the big red van.:rotfl:

Have you ordered or bought any UGGS from anywhere?
