Just viewed my latest report and according to them I made an application for credit on the 25 November 2015 to a company called Everest Ltd.
I have never had any dealings with this organisation and can only assume it is just one of Clearscore errors.
The whole point of seeing credit files is to raise an alarm if anything suspicious is happening to your finances.Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

That is odd, as even if Everest say they were hacked, some of your details (even if not complete) must have been imported from somewhere else.0

MABLE, the main thing is that you have not just ignored it. Good luck.

I am now going to sign up with CIFAS for Proactive registration and then if any one tries to obtain credit on my name the potential lender will be aware of a fraud problem and hopefully carryout further checks.

In the Summary section where it gives a breakdown of positive and negative factors, I have a negative factor which states I was over limit on a credit card at a certain date. Nope. The card was well within its limit, then gradually reduced and eventually closed with a nil balance 2 months before the date of the statement the Summary refers to - there was no statement on the date referred to as the account was closed well in advance of that date.
When I check the listing in my Clearscore full report relating to this closed account, the info there is absolutely correct - so why is the Summary completely wrong?! I have sent a message about it but no reply after a week.
STILL waiting for this to be sorted out. About 10 messages have passed back and forth and the people at Clearscore (or rather Equifax who I have now been passed to) still do not seem to grasp what I am complaining about  2 months on and I have had to spell it out several times. It's like I say one thing and they hear another ...0 -

Has anyone got the email regarding the clearscore customer panel starting tomorrow if so are we allowed to talk about it on here?
The clearscore rep seems to be a regular on this forum if you could reply and let me know.0 -

It's seems to be aiming itself as a sales portal. I'm currently a little disappointed with its information accuracy. Only time will tell.Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.
