Nationwide Flex Direct Application??

Applied for Nationwide Flex Direct Account for the 5% interest rate for 12 months .
Applied online got an email straight away (After application) saying I have been accepted but need identification from me before account can be opened.... (Why bother doing it online could of done it in branch)
Dose this mean I have been accepted & just need to bring ID to branch??
Can I bring the ID anytime or do I have to wait till I receive letter in post?
Would driving Licence & bank statements from my other 2 accounts do?
Can you get the 5% interest rate if you have paper statements?

I opened a FD account 3 days ago and was told instantly I had been approved... then I got an email about 10 mins later like yours, saying they require ID to set the account up. Then yesterday I got an email saying the account was up and running (I hadn't taken them ID). Bit strange... just wait a couple of days and see if the same happens to you.0

So usually 2-3 days after you have completed the application you get another email??

OOOPs, sorry, you don't need paperless statements in order to get interest on the Nationwide FlexDirect. For some weird reason, I thought you were talking about TSB Plus0
