hope it all goes well, looks like you've got some busy times ahead.
I started our cleaning blitz yesterday, and got the kitchen tackled and some of the living room and bathroom.0 -
happy new year xxxxxx
good luck with the projects and the pain management thing.
Thanks Taxi - the stitching is going well (at this rate I could have it done by the end of this week forget the end of January :rotfl:), I'm not sure if I am looking forward to the pain management course or not! Although this is being run by people in pain as well as medical professionals so that should make it betterLemon_Tree wrote: »hope it all goes well, looks like you've got some busy times ahead.

hi Dragon, sorry to miss you earlier, but i'm in chatting mode if you're interested.
We now have a sparkly bathroom courtesy of OH.
I have finally sorted through a years worth of paperwork, and it's either filed, recycled or in a pile for shredding which i'm doing whilst on here, gotta let the shredder cool down loads.0 -
Well stitching hasn't really happened since about Wednesday (too much pain to concentrate!), I lost internet access for 24 hours  and this week I have two medical appointments , pain clinic on Monday
(and the clinic is the furthest possible point from the entrance so if I wasn't in too much pain by the time I started I would be by the time I got there :mad::mad:), Tuesday I have the first of six sessions to help me deal with long term pain/illness so see how that goes!
Diet, well week one of the Ration Book diet is over and I haven't lost weight :rotfl:, I basically stayed the same again BUT I need to get my thryoid tested again in 6 weeks which would seem to indicate that I may need to up the dosage again (need to phone the surgery on Monday to book that appointment and to check!)Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

So do I!! Mind you the cynic in me wonders if these suddenly started so that they can get people back to work

Well the pain clinic went okay except again they changed where it is held (I was told the furthest point from outpatients and it was actually at the closest point BUT I had to get to the original place first and come back down!:mad:)
Not sure about the pain management we couldn't even find the place!! and it is too far for me to walk from a bus stop so I have to get a taxi for a journey that should take less than 5 mins by bus! (not that I object to getting taxis but this seems a little pointless!)Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

:j:j:j new computer is up and running and MUCH quieter than the old laptop
, no stitching has really happened (been seriously sore and I didn't want to stitch just to have to undo it the next day which has happened in the past ), we got some new bathroom scales today (that weigh up to 23 stone and 8 pounds) so I can keep a track on my weight again without having to go to the Nurse or Boots! :j
Not sure if the EPP course is going to be good or not BUT they ask you to commit to the 6 weeks on the first session so I suppose I really need to keep going!the problem is I was so stiff and sore after the first week that I am really, REALLY not sure
, but Dr Dragon did mention that after all I had been to the pain clinic the previous day and therefore it could have been a combination of the two days playing pain catch up.
Hmm - no spend days are going well and I am starting to work through my raft of moisturisers (so those two challenges are going well), I hope to make a large payment to the CC this week so hopefully that will start to nudge downwards again.Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup
