3 in the morning doesn't sound good at all! Unless it is a night shift of course ...but am guessing not...

Nope just being on call!

More losing weight vibes heading your way (apart from the ones I am keeping for me! :p)

Thanks hun! I need all the ones I can get :rotfl:, Dr Dragon and I ate in the pub last night and I had chips - Goddess they tasted 'orrid! I normally have spuds and veg but fancied a change - I have lost all taste for them :p (still ate 'em mind!:rotfl:)

Update on the Dr Dragon situation. Yesterday he was waiting for a call back from a slave trader (interview next week at a place where he knows a load of people and gets on great with them), the phone rang and he answered it - it was his boss and by the end of the conversation (well two conversations - he rang off and promptly rang again!) Dr Dragon was physically shaking with nerves and stress  he has got to get out of there ASAP!

That's not good - he definitely needs to get out of there. Hugs to you both.
  • He certainly does. What a horrible situation to be in. My friend is very similar. she works for a company based in job centres, and they are awful to her. she is physically sick with the stress, and has had a serious health problem which she has ignored. Thankfully she is better now, but i can understand the pressure you are under. I hope for his sake he gets this other job, and for your peace of mind.
    ((((hugs))) and a few xxx

It sounds as though your friend needs a new job as well! Why do bosses think they can treat the workers like slave labour?

Okay a quick plan for the rest of the day!

Phone the B&B and cancel it (Dad is too ill to travel)
Heat up and eat Hot and Sour soup (home made!)
Find a couple of healthy/low fat/cal recipes for this week!
Do a hobble and stash (should be a dash and stash but not with my ankle :p)
    Do some stitching (yeah right!!!!!!!!)

Thats a good list! Lots of crossings out... confession to make tho, I don't know what a "dash and stash" is - is that going to the supermarket and throwing everything in the kitchen? I'm so thick sometimes its not true....

It is sometimes called stash and dash and means "aaaargh we have visitors coming in half an hour and all this carp over everywhere! Put it out of sight and quickly!!"
