Well the rayburn goes roughly 365, but then we cook on it and heat our water with it. Living room not yet, cleaned the chimney today in prep, but hopefully won't need it until October. Depends how windy it gets. (we don't have wind turbines on the hill for nowt you know) we lost a fair few tiles last October and when your upstairs is wood and tiles, no brick or owt, it gets nippy waiting for the council!

Wouldn't even consider the heating yet (storage heaters eeek!!). In my house it's extra jumpers / walter hottle bottles for a good while yet, then perhaps the halogen heater to take the chill off the room we're in, then perhaps heat on in November! (then I only use 2 of the 6 in the house!!). KNow what you mean about the weather tho, distinctly autumnal at 7.30 today!
  • As with 'Ill be Frank' im still in t-shirts, although did have my thin bench top on when nipping out to ASDA (cooked bacon, no bread, doh!)

But then being on the second story in a block of flats, the warmth from below keeps the heating off for longer.
