when i went in 2012 i flew air france london-paris-hong kong and it was under £400

Hong Kong is beautiful (in places) and interesting (everywhere). Personally I would choose an extra day for general sightseeing, and to have a less rushed departure.0 -

Yeah...but he isn't flying from London..... London can be circa £400 anyway. The issue here was wanting to fly direct from an airport in the north.0
