Puma 1.7. First car I ever ordered 'built to spec'. Heated screen, air conditioning, CD player... And those lovely dials...
There were far bigger and faster cars in the company car park at the time, but it was the only car people would actually make a beeline for because it looked so different.
Started many a conversation, I'm still married to one of them

Peugeot 205 GTI back in the 80s absolutly brilliant performance . They were producing boring stuff for years then came up with that gem now they are back to boring stuff again.0

It's a tie between a Renault 5 GT Turbo I had in the late 80's & the car I have now.
The Renault was like a rocket propelled skate board, it was an amazing experience performance & handling wise in it's day. The downside was reliability, it suffered more than it's fair share of issues.
Still, great fun (when it worked), a real "mental" car...I loved it!Always try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!0 -

For sheer speed my Toyota supra turbo, however for driving joy I preferred its smaller cousin my mk2 1989 Toyota celica as it was quicker in the corners. If I could find another I would buy it today. Never had a car I haven't found something to enjoy about it including an Astra diesel.0

When I was a young lad, I always wanted a twin turbo toyota supra, my dream car. Then fast and furious came out and every chav had one with some crappy curb clipping veilside body kit.
I'm intrigued though. What did you enjoy about the astra? The sight of the new owner driving off in to the distance in it?0 -

Without doubt my mk II MR2 t bar. Not the fastest car ever but loads of fun to drive and very comfy seats. Unfortunately I had so sell it years ago to make way for something more practical.0
