Hi Lunar, thought I would drop in and see how things are going with the pregnancy
I am 29 weeks now and getting larger by the day, I think a big diet is going to be in order when she is born!

Try breastfeeding - it's fab (for weightloss - not so great while you're being kicked, scratched, pinched and bitten though you may get a calmer baby than I have!). I'm lighter than before I was pregnant and everyone keeps telling me how great I look (course they could just mean that I looked a complete hag while pregnant!!) Probably all the miles I walk while carrying Tom helps too; having a very demanding baby does have some advantages!!
Hi Lunar!! :wave:0 -
Hiya
I haven't "seen" you for a while and you have done really well with the debt.
You also have your head firmly fixed on when buying baby goodies which is great - no doubt uyou'll get loads more gifts as time goes on as well...0 -
Hayley, im 30 weeks now, we must have nearly the same due date. Starting to get nervous about things now. Ill be joining you in that diet after thats for sure!
Hope you are well chocaholic, i noticed you are back at work. hope its going well. This will be my first christmas off work in 10 years, i wont want to go back after a years maternity leave!
Peb, I think thats my problem i always have had my head fixed onto shopping tasks! i am trying to show some restraint though, luckly my mum has been buying enough luxery items so i am able yo concentrate on the essentials.
Need to update my sig and see where i am with my challenge totals.DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0 -
Im pleased with my debt total but know i could do better if i could get back on the site every day. It really stops me spending when i know i shouldnt. I spent a total of £3.82 on food and drink at work today, when i have plenty in at home i could have made lunch with.
Ive got 5 weeks after this left to work, i feel like im counting down the days till im off work. I guess i should go and get some tea ready for my OH getting home from work, then i think it will be bath and bed!DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0 -
Blimey, 30 weeks already? That seems to have flown over, though I'm sure it doesn't feel like it to you.
lol, I was only back at work for a week and a half and now it's the summer holidays so it doesn't really feel like I'm back yet. Will have to go in soon and do some sorting out before September though. I'm only going to work three days a week so I'm looking forward to some Tom-time on the other days.0 -
Hi! I'm so excited for you, 30 weeks already - wow! I have been wondering how you're getting on loads over the past few weeks, and it's fantastic news that you're having a boy (but then I suppose I'm biased!).
Look at that debt total as well - what's that all about?! You're a real motivation to us all.
I was going to offer you a load of baby clothes, but it sounds like you're sorted for that. I do have loads of other stuff too though so let me know before you buy anything! Even big stuff that I'm planning to sell on like the crib, moses basket, swinga-me-bobs, bouncers - you name it, I've got it - you're very welcome to borrow anything like that for as long as you'd need it if it saves you buying it. I loved buying it all first time round, then realised I'd totally wasted my money (the bank's money technicallly) as so much of it was barely used.
Off to stalk Choca now on my mega nightshift mission to catch up. Speak soon hopefully!0 -
Chocaholic, I think i will go back on 3 days as well, definatly not full time. I didnt try this hard to get pregnant to let someone else bring him up! I cant believe how fast this year has gone, you had tom while i was having my fertility treatment. I still dont think it has completly sunk in that I will have a baby in just 10 weeks.
Panda, its really good to see you back. ive been really slack on the board too and have let things slip. (still buying lunch at work) As for the baby things my friends and family have been going a bit mad with shopping and giving me loads of bits. I think they have all been waiting as long as me for me to be pregnant. They are also having a baby shower for me at work before i finish. The book you sent me is brilliant, has stopped me wasting loads of money! thank you for the offer of lending me Gregs baby things, but i dont think anything else will fit in our house!!!DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0 -
Managed to make a £60 payment to my egg loan, still got a way to go to make that christmas target but hopefully i will make it. I have to make all the overpayments i can before christmas as that is when my wage will drop and i will only be on minimum payments until i go back to work.DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0

Well done with the overpayment - I don't think I know anyone who gets on with things as well as you do. Every time I see a post from you there's another reduction in your total!
How's your OH? Is he excited about the baby? I bet you'll be absolutely snowed under with pressies when he arrives! Have you thought about names yet? (Cuthbert is quite popular at the moment!)0
