The great thing about fleeces of course, is that they are so easy to store. Just take your scissors and cut a bit off the curtain rail & bingo there's lunch. One simply doesnt know what one did before one found fleece

I'm sure this has been discussed already, given the length of this thread but...

My living room has one wall that is two-thirds taken up with glass patio doors. It's great at this time of year, but really chilly in the winter as I only have slatted blinds to cover them. I can't afford curtains for such a huge expanse of glass and, as I rent the flat, I can't make any permanent changes.

Could anyone suggest a fairly simple, not too expensive way of covering the doors to keep the heat in at night? I have no handicraft skills at all, so something that doesn't involve sewing would be preferable! :o

    Thanks for your help.
Back after a very long break!

The bottom of my curtains go well below the top of my radiator. When it is cold I close the blinds but the curtains are too long to go behind the radiator so obviously there is no point closing the radiator behind the curtains. Can anyone suggest a solution?

I used to fold the curtains on top of the radiator and slightly behind if that makes any sense.
