I have also read today that the price of dried fruit has risen dramatically, the price of dried apricots has gone up 64%, due to a terrible harvest in the middle east.
Raisins, sultanas and date prices have also risen, after a poor harvest in Turkey.
Bad news for our christmas puddings.Felines are my favourite

My stocks of bread flour have been frozen for 24 hours. I read somewhere (probably on here) that this stops any beasties.
The way things are going we're going to have to eat the fleeces.0 -
Would freezing the flour and then defrosting and packing away be best or do peeps just leave it in the freezer until using it?
I`m not sure if i shall have the space to keep it all in the freezer
I`ve already bought a couple of extra bags to keep over winter.
