Preparing for Winter

We also had to put the central heating on last week, all that rain and the boys came home from school absolutely dripping. Hung it all up but there was no sign of anything drying as it felt too damp indoors. Lovely to have the radiators on but its been pretty mild since!
Hope to get to Dunelm today to windowshop some new fleecy sheets (we only got 2 from Dad so would have to wash/dry same day for the boys), Christmas goodies and sewing bits.
We bought one of those letterbox inner flaps a few months back. Postman managed to wreck it with our mail after about a fortnight. Any ideas on ones that dont snap off?
Will also be checking outside, sorting the greenhouse (hopefully) and preparing my tender plants to go inside for winter. Got caught last year and lost several plants including most of my lemon tree (now have one shoot only).
Just looked on BBC weather, looks dry for the next few days so will try to get lots of washing done. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

OH uses his comfortably he's tall and quite big built and my very preggers friend still had plenty of space too. On the box its called a snuggle blanket so hope i havent misled anyone, sorry if i have. I defo think they are good for the price compared to some similar products i've seen on the net and they do the job!
Nickynoo you didnt mislead me! I purchased one after you mentioned them on here and I have lived in it since! I sat last night with it wrapped right round me (and I aint skinny) and tucked under my feet and I was as warm as toast! Its very roomy and warm and for a tenner would def recommed one to anyone. Thanks for the tip nickynoo!!:j0 -

think I've kind of got a tip....when sorting our your wardrobe for winter...don't ever throw jumpers away...even if they seem small or out of dtyle...was thinking of throwing a few away but realised I could use it as 'body tops' underneath dresses and looks very good too! ( and keeps me warm in the winter!):beer:0

Brrr have had to put the heating on, forecasting frosts here all this week. On the plus side that will mean lovely clear sunny days so will get my washing dry outside!
