Often the first few threads, or 'stickies', explain what that section of the forum's all about.
Mind you I would have thought that anyone who understands the term 'greenfingered' could work out what threads in Greenfingered Moneysaving have as their main subject matter.

You'd need to be privy to their accounts to know that. Why not ask to see them, or perhaps the second job you seek could be an undercover investigator?0 -

You appear to have managed to post other threads on the right boards.
If anything, it's you who have been abusive to me - not to mention "unfairly accusing".
Why - just why - do you have this fixation about this take-away and its business practices?
You clearly have no proof of any wrong-doing by them.
Other posters have pointed out that it's not unusual not to accept cards and not unusual not to give receipts in similar places.0 -

A business does not have to record each individual sale. In some businesses that's too much work. A business taking cash payments can just add up the amount in the till at the end of the day deduct the float at the start of the day to figure out how much was taken during the day. They'll then record that figure in a diary/ledger as "Cash Sales" and the date. This will all be done when you're not around.
Of course there is an opportunity to pocket a small amount of cash and not record it but proving that is almost impossible. Although I did read a while ago a takeaway pizza restaurant was done by HMRC as they purchased and claimed for a large number of empty pizza boxes and during the period in question only recorded a low number of pizza sales and they had no more pizza boxes left and no explanation as to where they went so there is some evidence available as it was assumed the pizza boxes were given away with pizzas that were sold and the income not declared.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.
