Hi Lil, yes the 2k target is for the EF. 2k is my initial target,.
Ideally I would like to get it up to at least 5k. Baby steps though. I'm optimistic I will achieve 5k by end of 2015-fingers crossed.

    Thank you both.
I know I will feel much better once I have a decent amount in the emergency pot.

Well done, TC, I am very slowly building up an emergency pot, it's only at a meagre £300 at the moment. I have savings pots for other things as well - future spending that I am saving for in a proper budgety sort of way. I am going to go for a £1K emergency pot for now, until I have paid off the credit card debt, as it seems wrong to have CC debt when there is a stash of cash sitting around looking pretty :).

You are doing really well, I admire your determination with the food budget :T.

Ok, I have a small issue..but it's big to me.
My freezer has a couple of drawers and 4 shelves. My problem is that because the shelves are open shelves with no drawers or anything. This means it has to be strategically filled so that nothing falls out-this is great until I need to get something out of the freezer...I am at a loss as to how to solve the problem. If anyone has any suggestions they will be gratefully received. Many thanks in advance. :)
