Managed another no spend day Monday j
Went and did a bit of a top up shop yesterday-spent £27.33, but that includes a tenner on my savings card towards the December shop. I have £40 on the card up to press-hoping to get it up to £200. I tend to put £10 a week on it when I remember.
Only spending cash ( as opposed to card) at the supermarket is working really well. I give my purchases a lot more thought.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Hoping for a no spend day today, can't guarantee it though...depends what comes up.
I've had so much unplanned expense this month. so I'm pleasantly...amazed I have managed to pay so much off the mortgage and add so much to emergency savings. :jGE 36 *MFD may 2043

Ok, I have a small issue..but it's big to me.
My freezer has a couple of drawers and 4 shelves. My problem is that because the shelves are open shelves with no drawers or anything. This means it has to be strategically filled so that nothing falls out-this is great until I need to get something out of the freezer...I am at a loss as to how to solve the problem. If anyone has any suggestions they will be gratefully received. Many thanks in advance.
Well done on all the payments tattycath :T
Could you get a couple of plastic boxes to put on your freezer shelves and then put everything in them? You could pull the box out like a drawer then."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Thanks jwil, I will have to look round for some.
Yes, I'm really pleased with my achievements so far this month. :j
My savings are growing well and I'm optimistic I will smash my savings target and be ready to set a larger one before the year is out.
I'm not sure if I will achieve my mortgage overpayment target yet. It means I will have to find an extra £2400 in 3 months. :eek:GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Yes, I'm cautiously optomistic. Need to hunt out more stuff to add to my listings on the bay. I hope the sales continue. It cuts my clutter and pays more off the mortgage.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Not a happy bunny tonight. I can't get into my e.mails and I've forgotten the password to another account I need to sort out.
Hopefully I can sort them both out in the morning.

Busy day today. Lots to do and so little time!
I need to split myself in at least 4 to get lots of things done. No financials to report.GE 36 *MFD may 2043
