I'm sorry I haven't been on for a while tattycath, I hope everything is ok with you.

Good luck with the targets, they will be fab if you can achieve them all!

Thanks for the tip about carrots, I'm going to try that, I'm fed up with them going all wrinkly too quickly :)

    Hi jwil.
    All is ok thanks. :)
Let me know how you get on with the carrots. :)

I second that fleabay is doing well at the mo - have sold over a dozen things in just over a week out of about 18 listed, so was pleased with that :) It's just motivating myself to list it in the first place which is the really hard bit :(
    xx

    Hi greent.
Yes, it's the motivation to do the actual listing I'm struggling with. :o
I do have some stuff up for sale, I just need to add to it.

Yesterday I had my (what seems to be almost weekly) cold/bug/sniffles) :(
I did manage to get some paperwork sorted. :j still got more to do though.
    Today:it's photographing and listing day!

Mortgage overpayments are very slow at the moment. I pay a regular overpayment-probably over £125 a month, in with my usual payment. I just don't seem to be in a position to pay any more at this moment. :(
In an ideal world, business will pick up to the point whereby I can double my monthly payment-that will make a dent in the mortgage. Right, best get listing-getting rid of excess personal possessions will be a start.

It's really cold here this morning, heating is on and I'm freezing!
    Busy weekend:cleaning, tidying, photographing...
Not got much listing done as the photographing takes so long. I'm just in the throes of editing about a hundred items worth of photos...
I did manage a few sales over the weekend-so that's 20 quid in the pot. :)
Today, after work, I need to continue editing and trying to get some listings up.

Tuesday morning, all is well...apart from my computer. I'm trying to edit photos and it keeps coming up that there isn't enough memory. Even though I have over 33% memory...so I'm doing everything I can to get rid of unwanted stuff...it won't let me Defrag it for some reason either-it was only repaired and sorted out in August. :(
My next option is to save all photos on a internet based site or stick them all on a memory stick or disk.
Does anyone use auctiva-eBay listing tool? I did use turbo lister for my business, but apparently it's not going to be available after June 2017. :(
I know auctiva is about $9.95 a month and you can store a limited amount of photos. I'm just looking for feedback about: ease of use? Reliability? Value for money? TIA

Have never used AUctiva, sorry. I used to use turbo lister many years ago but now just list things individually x

This week it feels like I have done loads and achieved little. :(
I have managed to sell £28 worth of stuff. :)
I'm hoping to have a more productive week next week.

Now up to £45/£200 for the month (making money from unwanted stuff, money found, voucher, TCB, etc etc).
I read something interesting about time management recently. (Probably on MSE actually). Something about dividing your day up into hours available and allocating set times for different stuff. This way I might manage to allocate some time to myself-fingers crossed. You never know, it may also help me to utilise my time more effectively. :)
I'm going to go and write out my 'to do' list for tomorrow.

Today hasn't gone to plan. :(
Firstly, I sold something and it took me over an hour to find it! :(
Then I had problems with computer and email. :(
So I'm hoping to have it all sorted tomorrow so I can get on.
    DD1 has tripped at work...:(
temporary cash flow problems, just the incentive I need to get rid of some stuff and try and get some money in.
    Challenge on!
