We had a relaxing weekend and I'm now refocused and re energised and ready to face the week ahead!
Well, it's Monday afternoon and all is well...I don't know where time goes!
I've been working this morning, as well as having a couple of appointments.
This afternoon I need to get more of my paperwork sorted ready for SA. I'm hoping to have it all in order so it can be submitted by beginning of November.
I've already spent £64.75/£250 from my October grocery budget. I have got well stocked cupboards though and it does include packed lunches.
Right, best get to it!GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Evening meal was very nice tonight. Even if I do say so myself.
We had pork ribs (YS) with red onions, new potatoes and carrots-all thrown together in one pot in the oven (with a pork casserole mix-that needed using up).
I have really struggled with carrots. I buy them and they never stay fresh, it doesn't matter where I store them, they go soft and manky and grows in less than a week after purchase...
This was until a few weeks ago. I can't remember where it was, but I saw a tip for storing carrots and thought I would try it.
Quick tip. If you wrap your fresh carrots all together in tin foil and keep them in a fridge-they last ages. I bought some 3 weeks ago and wrapped them in foil and put them in salad drawer in fridge. I used some today and they are still as fresh as they were when I put them in the fridge and they tasted lovely. I'm so impressed.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Moved £70 to savings.
I still need to get my rear in gear and get more stuff up for sale.
This morning it's paperwork for a couple of hours. Determined not to be last minute with my SA-I want it sorted and submitted before end of October. That's the plan.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Warning. Mini rant:
What is it with banks? Needed to sort something out so went to see business banking manager in branch. He filled in forms, he asked for relevant ID and photocopied it and sent it all off. A week later forms co e back to me coz he missed a couple of things. I filled the missing bits in and sent it back...its just come back again as there isn't enough ID. What the...?
They've already actioned even though it stipulates they can't...I'm confused... Think I'll ring up.
And breathe... Rant over!:mad::eek::(

Good luck with the targets, they will be fab if you can achieve them all!
Thanks for the tip about carrots, I'm going to try that, I'm fed up with them going all wrinkly too quickly"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
I second that fleabay is doing well at the mo - have sold over a dozen things in just over a week out of about 18 listed, so was pleased with that
It's just motivating myself to list it in the first place which is the really hard bit
