Ally, I hope you are feeling better for getting some rest this weekend
Thanks, I'm doing ok. I'm feeling 6/10 which is better than the 2/10 I was feeling on Friday. Hello all,
Today has been a NSD but yesterday wasn't. Filled the car up and went out for lunch with a friend. It was lovely to catch up with her and we hadn't been out for food for ages together. She bought cake afterwards I also had my engagement ring tightened so it fits perfectly now - no charge by the jeweller. Dismantled some furniture in my old flat ready to sell, plus sorted some bits and bobs out. Looking very empty in there. I'll need to sort out carpet and window cleaning plus post redirection...

Legomum - I have to say and I don't like to recommend spending money on a money saving website but buying a smart TV earlier this year and having the ability to play Netflix and YouTube directly has really changed our lives. £6 a month for access to an amazing array of programmes & keeps my son off his tablet because he can watch lego programmes on YouTube on the TV.
Just wondering if it's an option? You can get a decent 32 inch for around £300.
Thanks for the shoe advice I think I will take it.

Thanks Bob, we have a smart tv but haven't used it that way...(once the film is done I will ask DH why?!!) We were quite happy with the sky (apart from the £40/month) but then when amaz0n did a special prime day thing about a month ago we signed up to that for the months free trail and that was what made us decide to cancel the sky once and for all. DH had said about doing the Netflix free trail also but I had asked him to hold off on that until we'd watched the series on amazon that we were really keen to watch (total binge watchers, Hustle is the current one, on series 5/8 I think) We didn't know anyone who had Netflix so I wasn't really sure what we'd be getting, thanks for the recommendation Is Netflix programmes we'd be famililar with or is it new content Bob? My two are lego mad (hence lego mum ) and they both have commented that the one thing they are really missing off sky is the Lego ninjago series. 0 ) and they both have commented that the one thing they are really missing off sky is the Lego ninjago series. 0

            Good Evening Everyone
I literally have no energy today. Worked til 2am last night and did the cleaning before my shift! Very tired. All extra pennies though. Next week will be a good pay. However my lack of energy means the little ones have trashed the house and really cant face cleaning it up yet.
So I need to keep food bill bare min this week, so going to be scrapping various meals together and using up odds and ends. This evening it has been 2 ready meals, curry for me and sweet and sour spilt for the little ones. Don't tend to ready meals but bought a few when I was poorly a lot with my dietetics. Had a rumble in freezer and took out some gammon for tomorrow, handy I have 3 eggs left. Got a tin of tuna and some sweet corn so going to make a big load of pasta salad with that for dinner and leftover for dinners at work/child-minders.
Won ebay bid on radiator cover for £21 will collect tomorrow. A lot cheaper than new and its really nice.
Going to speak to sister see if she'll pick milk up from supermarket for me rather than being forced to pay local prices.
Need to get back on listing things on selling pages as not managed to do any this weekend.
Bins out this evening, want to sort some old clothing/old bedding/coats to put out too. Not really charity shop stuff. and anything else for recycling.
Brought some empty spirit bottles home from work to make a display/put pennies in. Also some small tonic bottles (to fill with milk, look like mini milk bottles) Look pretty went doing tea/cakes/sandwiches for friends
will send a message to work to add on overtime and send availability in for next week.

Legomum- yes the lego ninjago series is all on Netflix.
Some of the things we've enjoyed watching, tonight for example The Five Armies the last hobbit movie. But OH has been binge watching all 6 seasons of Hero's. Also on here is Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad. As well as Prison Break.
All of American Horror except season 4. We love Fringe and have been working our way through that. There is an excellent series called Blood Line starring Ben Mendehlson, all of Orange is the New black.
Loads of back catalogue such as Fawlty Towers. And other BBC classics.
For kids it is great. Pixar is quite well represented as well as lots of BBC classics like the Walking with series. My son loves those.
Anyway I am a real fan. And having craned over a tablet to watch movies in bed having the smart TV is a huge bonus. We've never paid for TV so this feels like a really good selection.
 Hope that helps.
