Morals are what should prevent you from helping people who have decided that permit only spaces are only for those who can be bothered to pay for them. The arrogance of the OP is evident. This is tantamount to theft from both the Land Owner and those who have forked out for a permit. As campaigners for getting rid of parking companies you might be better off educating people on how to park repectfully, which in turn might negate the need for Land Owners to employ the PPC's in the first place.
Thank you for your considered opinion - I'll stick to helping people thank you regardless of how they got the invoice."The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri0 -

@NotBothered ... please create your own new thread to discuss this topic. (Here or Arms - I don't care). Please don't hijack the OP's help thread.
No Hijack here! He has asked if he should appeal or ignore - my answer is neither - PAY IT! You did the wrong thing! It is an open forum and I have broken no forum rules! Unless a new rule has suddenly been introduced that says that if you disagree with the Regulars you are guilty of hijacking.
My posts are ON TOPIC. Relevant to the OP! About the OP! I have raised questions regarding other responses to the OP. I am allowed an opinion - this is an Open Forum. I have done nothing wrong except express my opinion. So shoot me!0
