OP hasn't come back to the thread, so I wonder how they got on with the expensive gadget. I have heard of laser hair removal too, but I would think it's expensive, and probably not recommended for the genital area.
But I agree with the sentiments about the current fashion to be completely hair free on the body. It IS a fashion and hopefully it will run its course and people will see sense.
It's definitely influenced by !!!!!!. When I was growing up, shaven 'bits' was VERY top shelf. Normal people didn't go for the bald look, and a girl would probably have run for the hills had a man suggested she do so :rotfl: It just looks strange and silly, - a bit like completely shaving one's eyebrows off!0 -

It's a denial of adulthood.
!!!!!!?
What kind of comment is THAT?!Ridiculous. Neither my wife or I trim/wax/shave/whatever to 'deny our adulthood', that is plain stupid.
Really simple explanation, hair in mouth ruins the experience for the giver, a hand having to be taken up moving it out the way is a hand less to use elsewhere thus detracting from the receiver and accidentally tugging on pubic hair isnt my idea of a good time.
We remove the hair as it heightens the sexual experience, not because we want to pretend we are kids.

Your opinion, not a fact. And as if shaving your eyebrows off is the same! :rotfl:
And as for 'normal people don't go for a bald look.' Define 'normal people...' By 'normal people', do you mean 'people who agree with me?'
Go and ask 1000 men if they prefer a woman with pubic hair, or shaved, and see how many say shaved.I know full well what they answer will be. The vast majority of men do prefer women shaved/well trimmed.
And as if it's 'influenced by !!!!!!.' :rotfl: What a bizarre statement.
Also, I find it weird and disturbing that people are implying that people who shave are trying to look pre pubescent. What kind of minds do THEY have? People shave because it's much more hygienic and it looks better and as has been said already, it enhances your sexual experience. These comments about people wanting to look like children are actually very strange.cooeeeeeeeee :j :wave:0 -
It could be argued, that the 'vast majority' of men view pornography, especially the younger generation, who look at it on their phones. Person_one's assertion is correct.

If it really were so much more hygenic not to have pubic hair then I would imagine we'd have evolved not to have it. And there's certainly risks involved in removal if you don't go to a reputable salon etc.
I also think it's not a coincidence that the rise in popularity of Brazilian / Hollywood hair removal coincided with the rise of the internet and accessibility to !!!!!!, and I am far from being alone in this view:
http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/womens-health/removing-pubic-hair.htm
When I was first going to beauty salons back in the 90s I only saw them offering bikini line waxes - designed to deal with anything that might escape from a swimsuit, not complete hair removal.
I do recall a boyfriend back then who had a stash of !!!!!! magazines and was influenced by what he saw asking me if I would shave down there and I wasn't keen thinking the regrowth would be itchy. He attempted to prove me wrong by shaving his own... and concluded I was right and didn't mention it again. Anyway, twenty odd years, !!!!!! is seconds away on any computer and it's commonplace to see complete hair removal offered in any salon.
I tried the total hair removal thing once (by waxing) and concluded it didn't do anything to improve my enjoyment of sex - really didn't feel any different to me. I guess if a boyfriend was more inclined to perform oral sex if the hair was gone that could improve sex... but otherwise I am unconvinced it's benefiting the woman involved. Though as the odd grey hair has started to emerge below I have thought it might be worth just getting rid of it all - certainly not going to be dying it!
I am not overly convinced on the idea people do it to look more childlike - I think it's done for the same reasons as in !!!!!! films - to make things more visible and reduce the chance of getting a rogue hair stuck in the teeth.
The hygiene reason I think is bogus, but a nice way of persuading a woman to go through a bit of pain to give the man what he wants....0 -
I have a strong aversion to body hair in general but don't want to be bare down below; IMO that's for little girls not grown women, but that is just my opinion and I take hair off other places more often than most/ probably don't blink at having it so each to their own
I support the hygiene argument as hair traps scent & sweat etc no matter how much you wash and downstairs is a "live" environment on top.
(I settle for a good trim with half blunt scissors every couple weeks)

When you've asked your 1000 men, do get back to us :rotfl:
The link between the rise in the availability of pornography and the sudden pressure on girls and women to be hair free is obvious to most people.
Shaving is not more hygienic, in fact it's less so, see the earlier links. You are just doing it because you have been conditioned to think it looks sexy. In fact it looks at best very odd, and at worst like a little girl. Still, if that's what you think you want..
By the way I strongly suspect the OP is a wind up anyway, seeing as they've never come back to the thread :rotfl:The report button is for abusive posts, not because you don't like someone, or their opinions0
