I agree with the second 2 posts here. Why does preferring to have a hair free fufu make you look like a !!!!!! star?!
FWIW, I don't have a LOT 'down there,' but do like to tidy it up a bit, and I generally get rid of about half of what's there. I just use a regular razor; I don't think it's necessary to get rid of every last bit, but that is just my opinion.
I am not fond of having a lot of hair down there OR under my pits, and although it's 'natural,' many women look better with less body hair. Yes I said it. Men look OK with it, women don't; let's be honest here. It's not being sexist; it's true.
Some people say it's unnatural to remove hair as it's 'meant to be there,' but by that token, why do we not all just stop dying our hair, because it's not 'natural,' stop driving (because pumping all those car fumes in the air isn't 'natural,') stop having our teeth filled with mercury and amalgam because it's not 'natural,' stop having babies with IVF, because it's not 'natural,' stop having pain relief for anything like headaches, pain, childbirth etc, because it's not 'natural;' I could go on...
Upshot is, if someone wants to shave 'down there,' that's their call, and it's not fair to label someone a !!!!!! star because they want to shave downstairs. Personally, I feel much more hygienic without much hair down there. And although I don't advocate doing things just to 'please your man;' I am willing to bet that many men prefer a woman with less hair. (Especially 'downstairs.')Proud to have lost over 3 stone (45 pounds,) in the past year! :j Now a size 14!
You're not singing anymore........ You're not singing any-more!0 -
Yes I can imagine it's problematic to get rid of the hair completely in the genital area. Underam hair is no bother to remove, and you don't get ingrown hairs (though I did get a razor cut the other day
)
If people think it's worth the bother of shaving their intimate parts (carefully!) every day, or going to all these lengths, then it's up to them what they do, of course, but it seems like making problems for yourself to me. The hair is meant to be there, after all, and personally I think it looks a bit weird hair-free, especially on men, but also on women.
Each to their own
The function of pubic hair is to trap the smells of intimate areas so they can linger & attact a mate. I don't want to enhance my natural scent, I'd rather smell of scent/anti-perspirant/soap/etc.
I feel cleaner when my body hair is removed. It makes me feel a bit dirty.0 -

I never thought of it like that :rotfl:
I must admit I don't like to have underarm hair, but I think the rest looks nicer with some body hair. Everyone has their own different ideas about what looks good/attractive and what doesn't.
I do get a bit concerned with teens getting their ideas from watching !!!!!! and thinking that girls have to be shaven and that body hair is unnatural and dirty (it isn't!), but there are of course many older women too who prefer the shaven look.
Each to their own, like I saidleft the forum due to trolling/other nonsense

Hi
Not sure if OP is he or she but I remember the reviews of veet hair remover for men made me howl with laughter some time ago
Have tried to find them

I have just been in tears reading those.0 -
I have a two pronged approach, I wax in as far as I can from the bikini line area and the top, just home waxing strips are fine, do it about every 4 weeks at the same time as my legs and armpits (and then opposite fortnight is eyebrows, lip, chin, etc although I am learning to thread), haven't been able to handle the pain of the middle part yet so I use a hair clipper on the lowest setting, it keeps it really short but not stubbly, it is like that point after shaving when it is really short but soft. I trim the main area about twice a week. It is a compromise as I cant afford waxing every 4 weeks professionally right now and don't have the pain threshold to wax myself all over.0

Pornstar.. or prepubescent. Which is probably even worse
It's a denial of adulthood.
And as to the person who implied that pubic hair is something caveman-like to trap the body smells and attract a mate, what a load of baloney. Shaving/de-hairing the area is actually LESS hygienic. See here:
http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2012/aug/07/pubic-hair-has-job-stop-shavingPubic hair removal naturally irritates and inflames the hair follicles left behind, leaving microscopic open wounds. Rather than suffering a comparison to a bristle brush, frequent hair removal is necessary to stay smooth, causing regular irritation of the shaved or waxed area. When that irritation is combined with the warm moist environment of the genitals, it becomes a happy culture medium for some of the nastiest of bacterial pathogensThe report button is for abusive posts, not because you don't like someone, or their opinions0 -

I agree no method of hair removal is ideal.
That's why I've invested nearly £400 in a machine to actually stop it growing.0 -

What a ridiculous statement.
I'm not going into the ins and outs of why I like to keep hair free, suffice to say it has absolutely NOTHING with wanting to look like a pornstar/pre-pubescent, so please keep your nasty little narrow-minded comments to yourself.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

Ridiculous. Neither my wife or I trim/wax/shave/whatever to 'deny our adulthood', that is plain stupid.
Really simple explanation, hair in mouth ruins the experience for the giver, a hand having to be taken up moving it out the way is a hand less to use elsewhere thus detracting from the receiver and accidentally tugging on pubic hair isnt my idea of a good time.
We remove the hair as it heightens the sexual experience, not because we want to pretend we are kids.0
