My year has been dire too! I used to average 2 prizes a week, not huge ones but not mars bars either, but now I am lucky to win one per month. I am keeping myself motivated at the moment...but I don't know how!
Thanks to all those fab compers who post:j:T
  • I've been quite happy with my wins this year, nothing huge, but a few things have been very useful (lots of dog and cat food, which is what I always hope to win).
I just enter and forget...hoping to win something! :)
  • My comping year starts in November.
Last years total was 60 wins (value RRP £3233)
This year (so far) I have 49 wins (value £1869.44)

Not disappointed with my wins at all but overall value seems lower this year. Biggest prize so far this year is a 5* overnight stay in London with afternoon tea so I am very happy with that. :)

Probably my worst comping year ever! But luck comes in various ways, whether it's a new addition to the family, a successful op, a new job, a nice holiday, & I'm grateful, but I still wanna win :D

Really interesting to read, thanks all for your contributions. I had been hoping to win a weeks holiday (never won one) somewhere this year to compliment the airport parking that I won last year but this week I decided just to pay for a holiday as my time is running out to use the parking prize and Europe is heading into winter soon. So after my gorgeous children making my year for me I am off to sunny climates for some rest and relaxation. :D
    Comping from May 2012 :D

Thank you to all that post & contribute, I think you are wonderful, I could not achieve without your help :)

Awful year - 4 prizes altogether.

I only do competitions from MSE, but know people who do all theirs on FB and have won lots of prizes.

I won approx 1 prize a month last year but down to 1 every 2 months these days. I think more companies are pushing their prizes on FB/TW, which I don't use.
Still 1 prize every 2 months is more than if I didn't comp at all.
    Keep the faith lol
