Good or bad year for comping?

It's not a moan as I feel my biggest win came last Thursday with my children's GCSE results, one VERY proud Mum
Having spent goodness knows how many hours comping this year it has been so bad and I am beginning to think that after 3 years my name may be getting bypassed, anyone else think this sometimes?
I have also noticed that the "I won I won I won" thread isn't as busy as it has been in the past which has led me to this post.

Same here , never had a year as bad as this !
seem to be putting more time into it and not getting much back , one win a month is a good month
there is alot more comping now , it is harder to win !october best wins , sony xperia Z1 , £600 john lewis vouchers  thanks to all who post0 -
Yes this is my worst year too. Used to fill up my signature with wins every month but plenty of room now!Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
Best Win of 2019 - Forest Holiday0 -
To the end of July exactly the same number of wins as last year and one less than the year before but value is well down.0

The change in rules that enforced web entry to telephone competitions will have caused a dent in value I suspect. I'm doing OK so far, put in an hour a day since the beginning of June and have won some good stuff.Started Comping: 1st June 2015
Prizes so far: 12kg Dog Food, Pro-Thermal Cream, Kindle Fire HD, Playing Cards, Canvas Bag, Cherry Tree, Jupiter Ascending Merch, Jelly Footballs, Afternoon Tea0 -
I think it has a lot to do with the amount of articles/ Facebook groups which encourage new compers but I think it will pick up again once the numbers drop
In saying that I have had an ok year but I find on the whole with comping I can have a bad year than a good year ( one year I won 4 holidays in one year for example ) its just the way it goes sometimesJuly 2015 Wins- Shaun The Sheep Goody Bag, 4x Books
Year to date: £786
Total to date ( Since 2008 ) = £37,345 :eek:0 -
generally a bad year but 2 good wins, a trip to Hobgoblin's really big feast and £500 to spend on a websiteproud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0

I did more comping last year than this year as ive been too busy with other stuff but numbers-wise i won more last year (esp in the advents) but this year ive won more valuable stuff (like a holiday, tablet, VIP camping tickets to Download festival etc) so value wise its better so far but numbers wise its not
..touch wood for a better advent season this year0 -
Not a great year (compared to previous). Hoping it'll pick up as we head into the autumn months.0
