Back again.

The company have come back to us. I'll paraphrase as they seem a bit stalkerish and as they may just Google search their wording and end up here if I copy paste verbatim (if they aren't already bookmarked to this thread)... I'm not sure if I should just put a quick word in with non-emergency Police as well.

1. They said as we appealed they had 28 days from when it was declined to send us the NTK which is apparently in PoFA guidelines. Can't find this myself but I'm not a lawyer.
2. They state how the next correspondence will be a county court summons at the end of the month and this is legal
3. They provide this sort of parking ticket service at one of our places of work and they say that they know we are / were an employee of the said company << Stalking
4. To be assured they will take legal action

I'm not sure what to believe especially considering the terrible grammar, punctuation and spelling, it's very poor quality, but it doesn't mean they haven't been advised what to write by someone who can write.

What should I do?

I know you are worried about the ppc 'listening in' here, but it would be beneficial to see point no.3 in its entirety, just to get a feel of what they are inferring.

Surely the first statement is wrong. It's 28 days after the PCN issue and then 28 days after, Parking Cowboys / MSE and Google search don't show anything accepting their claims of "28 days after appeal". Also we never appealed as they don't use POPLA.

Should I email my MP, DVLA and police about the stalking / lies?

As a side note, is there any simple way I can find out who is the landlord of the property (apartments in town centre) so I can just message them and apologise to see if this works? I've tried Googling but no joy.

Suggest you get onto the Land Registry and pay to find out. You will also need a copy of the lease / rental agreement of the friend you were visiting as that will detail what visitors can do. Your friend has the right to "peaceful enjoyment" including being able to invite friends over.

Also get some pics of the signs and the location you were parked in. Compare this to the lease and to the LR details.

Sounds like you'd better do this sooner rather than later as if they do send a claim you will need to do this anyway.

As regards pics of the signs, it is not unknown for a PPC to read these thread and nip down and change them. You may be able to see them do it if you are quick this morning.
