You can get a big bag of kale for a quid and it lasts for ages in stir fries and curries. It's the kind of thing students and families on budgets should be encouraged to buy, along with lentils (cheap, nutritious and filling but sadly forever associated with dreary middle class hippies) rather than processed !!!!!!.
Stupid list written by stupid people for stupid people. They are an EYESORES!!!!0 -
Not going to the dentist seems like a fantastic cost cutting plan.
Presumably when you need new teeth as a result, costing far more than it would have cost to visit the dentist each year, you simply go without and suck soup through a straw for the rest of your days?
Being careful to avoid any soup with kale in it, of course.0 -
It doesn't include the latest iphone, sky TV or going on holiday.
For most people their biggest discretionary purchase will be holidays.0 -
I have to admit Mayonnaise, I'm quite surprised that flat screen TV's are not on your list. It normally is.
Really, if a twenty something is buying a TV, they really should be buying the other sort.0 -

Have to agree that Sky seems like the biggest waste of money to me.After years of disappointment with get-rich-quick schemes, I know I'm gonna get rich with this scheme...and quick! - Homer Simpson0 -

I canceled Sky Sports, and if I want to watch it by subscribing to NOW usually for a weeks pass (if watching a Test match) for £10.99. I don't watch much football, so this saves me quite a lot.0
